Solo Leveling Volume 2 takes everything I loved about the first volume and pushes it even further. The pacing is fast, the artwork is stunning, and the story really starts to open up as Jinwoo’s abilities evolve. This volume dives deeper into the worldbuilding and raises the stakes in a way that kept me turning pages straight through. The action scenes are incredibly well‑drawn, and the character development feels natural as Jinwoo begins to understand just how unique his situation is. I especially enjoyed how the tension builds from chapter to chapter—there’s always something new to look forward to. If you enjoyed Volume 1, this is an easy recommendation. Volume 2 delivers more intensity, more mystery, and more of the addictive progression that makes Solo Leveling such a standout series. A must‑have for fans of action‑packed fantasy manga.

Okay so I really enjoyed the anime and heard that there was stuff cut out. However 1st 2 books are pretty spot on. Beautiful art, transition, and character build.

Continuing to read this webcomic series recommended by a co-worker. The art is still pretty solid in this sequel, but I feel there are some panels that could use a little improvement to show the action such as one panel where the main character jumps at an enemy, but the action isn’t shown; he just appears to attack the creature. Character development is still lagging in this edition with the main character still slow to accept his circumstances. The cover art, again doesn’t accurately depict what the reader reads in the story, but what I’m guessing is a future version of the main character. On the first cover, the main character is shown wielding a dagger that he doesn’t have, in this cover, he is shown having 2 when he never has 2 weapons in this webcomic. Also, the misty stuff never circles the main character. At least the story in this volume progressed a little faster than the first, so it was a much more enjoyable read than the first one… aside from having 7 pages of flashback art which didn’t actually drive the story forward. It’s only the second volume, there is no need for that much flashback. I have an idea of how things are going to go, but I could be wrong and don’t want to post any spoilers, so I’ll continue reading to see what happens.
