These knives are great! I had just returned a pretty stainless steel knife set because a bunch of knives rusted after handwashing only. They were almost double the price and I was very disappointed. These knives have gone through the dishwasher several times now (had them for over a month) and are flawless. You aren't paying for beauty or knives that will make you feel like some kind of high end chef, but you are paying for quality and durability. The knives also have just a bit of weight to them. Not so much that they are hard to wield, but enough to let you know these are quality kitchen knives. They are also nice and sharp. I'm very satisfied with my purchase! Should have gone with a trusted brand to begin with! Thanks Cuisinart!

I was replacing the mix match knives I've had for a million years and as I've recently redone my kitchen with stainless work tables, I wanted a nice knife block set to last me the last 20 or 30 years of my life.I had purchased the bread knife that matches this set and was very impressed with it so I figured I'd give these a try. Very impressive. I was prepared to spend hundreds on the set Gordon Ramsey uses at home, but then thought about what I really needed at home in the kitchen. LOLThese are great . . . but like any good knife, it all comes down to the care your give it. Use the steel every time, never let it sit wet or dirty, once or twice a year give it a good sharpening . . . .

This knife set is great! I received it yesterday and have used them. They are a great upgrade from my old set that really needed to be replaced after more than 20 years. They have a good feeling weight in your hand and do a great job of slicing. They look great on my kitchen counter too. Very happy with my purchase. Highly Recommend!

I recieved this as a Christmas gift from my hubby. Can you be in love with knives? Is that wired? Who cares?! I love this set.These knives are crazy sharp. Tomatoes, onions, meat, potatoes ... they were no match for these beauties. I bet they'll even do butternut squash like they show on food network. (Effortless butternut squash is a myth people!)These knives are weighed well and have nice maneuverability. They fit my hand and are comfortable to grip.My hubby says they're even easier to clean than our last set was!Would I purchase again? You bet your bottom dollar I would!

De muy buena calidad, el único pero que me pongo es que no tiene cuchillo para cortar pan .

Cuando abrí la caja y saqué el producto me pareción muy bien, con gran presentación. Los mangos de los cuchillos se sienten bien y robustos, el filo de los cuchillos es tremendo y se sienten muy bien.Sin embargo uno de los cuchillos steak (solo uno de ellos) en el primer uso se manchó como de óxido.Se que es virtualmente imposible por ser acero inoxidable, pero solo se lavaron de inicio y se usaron 6 de ellos una sola vez. Uno de ellos está manchado por ambos lados y no se quita la mancha.

very sharp edged, had a perfectly good bread knife and tomato knife so the smaller set was what I needed. Have young adults in house and wanted something in a reasonable price range. Everything I own that is Cuisnart is good and long lasting so have the expectation of these as well.

Love the variety of knives - except it would have been nice to have a serrated knife in the set (beyond the steak knives). They are sharp! Would definitely buy again.
