Fairy door

Good quality, looks as advertised, decent weight feels like they could last outside seasonally. We used them for a fairy tree house, easy to attach. Backing is similar to a picture frame piece to hang.

These little gnome accents are great! As you can see, I have built myself a nice little “gnome home” in a log, and I’ve received many compliments on it. The test was to see if it held up to the weather, and it has. The little door even glows at night for several hours! I love it, and totally recommend it to anyone looking to give their gnomes a nice place to live lol. The detail of each piece is really nice. Each piece doesn’t weigh much, but is very sturdy once placed. There are mounting holes in the back of each piece. Like I said, this photo is after a year outside. So I hint it’s a decent value considering that it will last for many more years. Years of making me smile while I garden! 🪴 Enjoy, and I hope my review helps!

I couldn't be happier. It's not too big and not too small. Easy to hang and looks great in my yard.

**This does NOT come with moss!** I had some left over from a different project.. Anyway, when I opened the box, I immediately shined a very strong flashlight on it for a good 5 minutes to test it out and it did indeed glow, but not for long. The branches of the tree i put it on blocked out the sun, and even if it did get alot of sunlight, this glow would not make it to night time because the glow will dim as the sun goes down. So don't expect that long lasting glow. As far as set up these came with screws so we'd be able to hang the doors and windows like you would a picture frame, but this made me worry that it might fly off because of strong winds. I tried to glue it at first with a heavy duty permanent glue which was an epic fail. I had no choice but to try and hang them. The bark and bumps on the tree made it hard to hang as well because of the really short screws. Longer screws would have helped alot. That thing behind one of the windows (Idk what that thing is called-the thing that holds the nail behind every picture frame so it can hang) it came off, so my S/O helped me fix that. It all worked out though as you could see. VERY BEAUTIFUL ANYWAY! I chose to put it high up in the tree so the kids don't touch it. Overall, longer screws, and a straight tree it won't give you any problems. Hopefully it doesnt come off, and I dont believe the moss will last long on the tree for those who are wondering, but never hurts to try!

I gave these as a gift to 2 sweet young neighbors who tried doing their own fairy tree. I walk in the a.m. and saw their attempts. This was a delight to give and receive. Their smiles and big thank yous said it all.

We have a weird patch in the wall that dents in. It’s under wallpaper so I didn’t really want to repair it but it still bothered me every time I walked past it. Bought this fairy door a just like magic the dent is gone (or just disguised). My four year thinks it’s magical, she talks about the fairies that live on the other side. It also glows in the dark which is super cute. Other details: Easy to hang, it has picture hangs on the back so you can just put a couple nails in the wall. Good weight, like a heavy resin or something, not flimsy at all. Door doesn’t open (a plus for me given the four year old but maybe not right for done uses) Comes with a lantern that hangs in a pole which is just adorable. GLOWS!

Adorable fairy door with added windows and lamp post. It is designed to hang on a wall not outdoors. BUT I drilled a top and bottom hole for screws so I could mount them on my apple tree. Not a hard thing to do just annoying bc I had to do it. The plastic (?) material is also hard to drill through.

Fairy door and window kit worked really nice for my project. The door and windows do not glow that bright in the evening. I'm going to look for glow in the dark paint to repaint them. Otherwise, it is a really cute kit. The door is large compared to the other kits I bought but worked really well with this fairy house project. It would look really nice on a tree. I used this one with another kit for my project.
