Firstly, like the other reviews say, there were a few sharp parts on the inside but don’t let that be a deal breaker! They were very easily filed down with just a standard nail file.As you can see I had the XL but purchased from another online store, at about the same price as this! But the issue with trying to find a hide large enough for an adult female royal Python is in store they’re ridiculous prices but online the measurements aren’t truthworthy, which is why I ended up having to keep the XL as I got it in a haul and the XXL was out of stock.It is more flimsy than the XL so just be careful when cleaning etc but other than that, for the price as well, I do recommend.Would probably be good for a smaller tortoise too, but definitely no snake larger than a female adult royal Python.

Bigger than I thought so I'm doubly pleased bought it for juvenile tarantula to feel safe and he loves it. Its good and sturdy and looks great.

It’s a good hide, but unfortunately arrived broken so had to use reptile safe glue to mend the broken peace back together. Overall nice hide with good dimensions for African Fat tail gecko

My crestie likes climbing across or sitting on this. He occasionally sleeps inside but the climbing over is great enrichment too.

Finally a cave that fits our 4foot Californian king snake! Great value for money

I've been eyeing this cave for so long was about to not buy it but every pet store has very small cave, almost 70$ but was worth it to see my smaug happy the first picture was from this morning and the video from last night he is a very happy boi I'm very happy with my purchase.

It’s just as described and very nice. A chunk broke off in shipping, but it wasn’t damaged enough to go through a return process.

These are my favorite caves for my snakes. I have sand boas and some caves do not suit them. These do not have a lip inside for them to rub their snouts raw or hide crap on like another brand I have bought. They look good and are easy to clean.

I have been looking everywhere for a hide that could be used on the warm side of our tank and would provide enough coverage for our Leo, without taking up too much space. This was the perfect solution. My full grown Leo was basically hibernating in her cold hide because she was not comfortable in the previous hides we had purchased for the warm side. I put this one (size medium) into her tank and removed the lid on her cold hide for two days to force her into the new hide. After two days I put the cold hide back together and let her decide where to go. She has been predominantly staying on the warm side. She fits comfortably with room to spare and can hide to the point of not being able to be seen in the corner. She is able to easily get in and out of the small opening and has taken some small breaks to cool off on the other side. She also enjoys walking over this hide when she is out and about in the tank. She is loving this new space! I highly recommend for anyone seeking a comfortable, sturdy hide for their Leo. Don't think twice...just buy it! You and your Leo will be glad you did.
