I highly recommend this book and writers. This is part of a set from Humor Heals Us. Laughing and giggling is what you will be doing all the way through this rhyming book.Pete knows he is just a little weird and prickly. He also knows he is very pooty. He knows how to stink up a room. His talent is pooting. Today is his birthday and he wants one true friend. Does he find one? You get to have fun to find out. You get to read/listen. Yipee!!

I expected humor, but it's not here.Pete the Puffer Fish goes around looking for friends without finding any only to discover after praying, that the other sea creatures have thrown him a birthday party. Some will like this, personally as an atheist, this book requires damage control.

2 boys, 7 & 5 laughed and laughed and laughed! Older grandson learning to read and he read to his brother. Younger one enjoyed looking the pictures and making up his own story. Boys and bathroom humor is truly something to see.Grandma is looking at more by this author.

I loved the poetry and the illustrations! I am glad the puffer fish found friends and fun despite his unusual habit / talent for being a smell monster of sorts :).

My kids ages 4 and 9 love this whole series. Funny and relatable is what we need right now

Cute idea but the story doesn't flow very well. My 3 year old didn't like it at all which is weird because she loves books and tooting lol. She wouldn't even let me finish reading it so we returned.

I ordered this book and another from the series for my 4 year old nephew but I was disappointed when it arrived. The text and story telling are poor quality and it’s too wordy. Not a catchy or cute book. The illustrations are decent but overall I do not recommend this book.
