Q: MouseAssistant software (ver5.2.06) doesn't recognize ring-finger/low speed button- it's completely greyed out. How do I resolve this?

Thank you for your purchase of and reaching out to us this time ! We are sincerely sorry for this inconvenience. This model M-XT2Series does not change the functions by mouse assistant. M-XT2 is that the ring finger button is fixed with a Pointor Speed Reduction switch. Sincerely, ELECOM Japan

Q: Mouse was working with windows 11 pc. now does not. works in different windows 10 pc. other mice work in windows 11 pc. drivers re-installed. no help.

remove existing driver then start from scratch.

Q: Which model is the newest version the m-xt2urbk-g or the m-xt3urbk?

The xt2urbk has 5 buttons, where the xt3urbk has a 6th programmable (pinkie/ring finger) button. I personally use the latter for graphics work.

Q: Is the optical sensor closed by glass shield or open through a hole (like Microsoft trackball)?

It appears to be closed behind a shield

Lovely

The trackbal is ideal if you work on a desk with minimal space. The setup of the mouse that the buttons are automatically swapped for my left finger is awesome. And very comfortable to hold and operate
