These are just okay...
I don't really have much experience with earplugs to have much to compare these to but I will say that I'm a little disappointed judging by the reviews that rave about this product. If these earplugs are truly one of the more superior ones out there - I'm afraid of what that means for all the other earplugs.I did find that these earplugs canceled out noise but to an extremely marginal degree. Was in the hospital trying to block out loud noises and snoring but my expectations were not met. What I can say is that the material is very nice and fits snugly in the ear without any irritation or discomfort. Way better than the foam ones they give you on airplanes. As for really plugging up your ears to spare you from obnoxious sounds - the noise cancellation was so minimal that for me it just really didn't end up being worth it. Ended up wasting money in my case. That being said - I do know that earplugs in general can only reduce noise to a certain extent. I don't think my expectations would have been so high had I not read other reviews saying how great these were. I take reviews very seriously when debating on whether or not to purchase something. So I am a bit surprised at the hype.

Earwax magnet works!
Makes everything outside sound kinda foggy and muffled when you have 'em in. Definitely reduces audio levels getting through your ear. Use this downtown when a local airshow has jet planes running practice laps overhead. Mute hallway gossip! You can still hear what's going on with these in, it's just super muffled-sounding and quieter. That may or may not be a good thing depending on what you need earplugs for. I don't know whether these qualify as 'ear protection' suitable for aerospace engineering, firearms demonstrations, outdoor rock concerts & music festivals... as I, uh, haven't really gotten to be a part of any of these kinds of things in my Life-- YET-- so I won't say that they do. But I WAS able to turn the volume all the way up on my Logitech 5.1 surround sound desktop speakers and fall asleep while listening to trance music on psyradio.fm's progressive channel with them in. I'd say they work. Definitely run these under cold water and use just a tiny bit of soap, running your bare fingers through them to get in between the flaps. These things get A LOT of earwax on them! That's all you'll really need to do, though, they clean pretty easily.

Good but not completely helpful
First off, the customer service is very good - they send emails and follow ups to ensure you are happy with the product. This was impressive, but then when I received these, there was absolutely no paperwork included. No instructions or receipt or anything to guide you if you need help. I had trouble with the little stick outs waking me in the night (side sleeper) I cut off the ends and then they fit very well. They do NOT fall out, which is great. They are comfortable too. However, they did not completely block my husband's snoring so not truly doing what I purchased them for.

Excellent Earplugs
If you're considering on buying ear plugs in order to help reduce noise, then consider purchasing these ones. They're re-usable, comfortable, and effective ear plugs. I would recommend these for anybody who are looking to buy ear plugs. Next I will list all the pros and cons that I can think of for this product.Pros:- Comfortable enough for me to sleep with in my ears, to study, and basically to use whenever- They look nice- They are easy to put inside your ears. If you're having trouble with putting them inside your ears, then you could tilt your head slightly, pull your ear back slightly as well, and this should make it easier to plug your ears- They effectively reduce noise and will definitely help if you don't want to listen to something. For example, if you are in a car ride and there is music playing that you don't like and you're on a long car ride, then you would find these really useful to put on.- They also come in a nice little case.Cons:- The only con that I can come up with is that they don't reduce noise 100%. When you put these on, it's not like it's as if you are suddenly in a vacuum and you can't hear any more noise. They reduce noise, but don't get rid of it completely. However, I'm not sure if there are any products that do that, and if there are, then they would most likely cost a lot more money. These work just fine.In conclusion, for the cost and effectiveness, as well as re-usability, I would recommend these for anyone looking to purchase earplugs.

Okay earplugs that are vastly overpriced
I have been searching for earplugs to block out the noise from the huge AC units outside of my windows in an apartment complex while I sleep. To that end, I tested about four brands of earplugs. This one comes across as a sort of fancy new product. It works, but not as comfortable as other traditional sponge/ rubber earplugs. In addition, it's not even that sound-proofing. Maybe it has to to with the way I use it, but it needs to include instructions if there is a specific way to use it. For this reason I take out one star.I took away two more stars because it is VASTLY OVERPRICED. Here's the calculation I ran: a package of traditional sponge/ rubber earplugs cost about $8-9 and it has 50 pairs in it. This earplug is $16 for ONE PAIR. That means the price of this product is 100x the price of a pair of traditional earplugs. Yes this product may work longer, but there's a limit to that because bacteria get in the way and you don't want to plug the same thing in your ear for several hours every day. For that reason it is much better to buy cheaper earplugs and replace them often. Plus, as I said, these paris are NOT more comfortable and more sound-proofing than traditional earplugs. All in all, this may be good for some purposes, but is terrible for sleeping.
