Good value due to high concentration compared to other products
Hard to measure the exact impact without a controlled test, but this seems to work well for cacti and succulents so far. For a liquid fertilizer, the value is excellent because it's highly concentrated, making the small bottles last a long time compared to most liquid options. Easy to mix and apply.

Great bi-weekly fertilizer
My succulents love this. I am careful not to overwater, but this has allowed amazing growth. Have been using this product for over a year now and will continue to do so.

Good fertilizer for slow-growing succulents
I’ve been using Schultz Cactus Fertilizer for my slow-growing, fleshy-leaved succulents—agaves, jade plants, and cacti. Since it’s a synthetic, fast-acting fertilizer, I dilute it to about ½ teaspoon per gallon of water. The NPK ratio is 2-7-7, which is perfect for succulents. The low nitrogen helps avoid the stretched, unnatural growth you’d see if you used a more typical “all-purpose” fertilizer. Instead, it supports root health and steady, compact growth. For my cacti, I stick to just two feedings per year: once in spring when they wake up from dormancy, and again in fall about a month before they start slowing down. For other succulents like jade and agave, I’ll use it with every watering during the active growing season—always diluted. One important note: this fertilizer should only be used on plants that are getting enough light. If the plant is light-starved, the nutrients can actually push weak, abnormal growth instead of the compact, healthy growth you want. Overall, it’s been reliable and easy to use, and I think it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a fertilizer specifically suited for slow-growing succulents and cacti.
