Looks good sounds great mood just doesn't work
Save your money. The grubber slips off of small trees that are less then a quarter inch in diameter and I won't pull trees that are a half inch in diameter. I hired someone that work for landscaping company and Hutu had no success in removing small trees and bushes. Looks good sounds great mood just doesn't work. Furthermore, the vendor refused to exchange it for another item or reimbursement. Now, I'm holding on to something that's completely worthless.

Amazing Tool Built to Work and to Last
This little device really works well. Hooked up to a come-along I pulled out the majority of small treels and bushes that has taken serious root. I was so im pressed at the strength of this little tool and the ease of use that I went back and purchased the heavier duty version.

Don't waste your money!
I had very high hopes for this tool; however, it is worthless!I purchased the "hand" solution because I wanted quick assistance clearing small brush and Buck Thorn but the "teeth" are simply too large to "grab" whatever I'm wanting to pull up.If/when the teeth ARE able to grab...that means whatever I'm trying to pull up is too large to pull up by hand. The teeth are also "clamping" at a tiny and fractional point toward the front, meaning it is super challenging to get a brush stem precisely positioned at that junction for the tool to have any effective grip on the stem. The fact that the teeth swivel actually makes it less effective because the teeth just swivel around the stem you are trying to "grab" and not puncturing the stem from both sides.Per Buck Thorn, the primary reason I purchased the tool, it is especially useless because the "grab" is so poor it just pulls the skin off...making the next attempt even more challenging as the stem is now very slippery.I did get the tool shipped to me very quickly, so no slam against the company I bought it from, but the tool shouldn't be sold as a "handy grubber"...it isn't handy and it isn't a grubber.

Great tool, but....
Great design and heavy construction, but it does not maintain a grip on small shoots under ¼". This could easily be fixed by offering a special pair of gripper teeth, but none is presently available.

Wants to stick when you attached to a brush.

No leverage aid.
I found this in Handiman magazine and felt it would be perfect. It's too short so you have to use strength to pull without any leverage aid. At all. Plus the grip doesn't grab well.

Tried, does not want to hold unto small items, only stripes the leaves off.
Wanted to return it but with a 25% restock fee and me paying the shipping, didn't make sense when it can be sold on ebay for at least what I paid for it. Also I have a BG-01 works great.
