Opens smoothly, sharp, nice workmanship, fun size
The media could not be loaded. It opens smoothly with a light press or swipe on the flipper. And there is just the right amount of tension in the liner lock to easily start the close and to prevent the blade from falling shut. It's SO light, under 2oz, which makes it my lightest knife. I can hardly feel in in my pants pocket. I love how small it is and how low it carries. But the knife isn't short, it's just really thin/sleek.The black handle is slightly rounded - exposing no hard edges - making it comfortable to hold. It's not like many of my much larger knives and you do have to hold it a bit different. But part of what I like about knives is how different they are, and learning to handle a new knife, any knife, is a lot of the enjoyment. It flicks open quietly. You can be quite gentle with the flipper and it opens with a whisper. I think this is because the blade is thin and light and it doesn't bang with a lot of force. So when I figit - opening and closing as a nervous relief - it isn't that annoying to others.I reversed the pocket clip as I keep it in my left front pocket. The single T6 bolt came out fine. Then you just flip it around and bolt it back in. If you wanted to remove the clip you wouldn't have a bunch of threaded holes in the sides of your knife, just one on the end, and that actually looks okay. The blade came very sharp, sharp enough for me, right out of the box. I opened the mail with it, like a letter opener, when it arrived and it was obvious that it had a good edge. The typical cut the paper demo went very well. It's a great knife for the collection. I'll definitely be carrying it, not exclusively, but I don't think there exists a knife that I would carry exclusively. I like to match up the best knife for both my activities for the day and my mood!More than worth the price. I definitely recommend it.

Great Desk Knife.
I recently purchased the CRKT CEO Flipper EDC Folding Pocket Knife, and it has quickly become my go-to desk knife. Here are my thoughts:Pros:• Smooth Deployment: The ball-bearing pivot system allows for quick and easy one-handed opening with the flipper tab, making it perfect for cutting mail and opening boxes.• Elegant Design: The slim, spear-point blade and lightweight, ergonomic handle give it a sleek appearance, resembling a pen or other desk tools.• Quality Build: The knife is made from high-quality materials, ensuring both sharpness and durability. The liner lock mechanism securely holds the blade in place during use.• Portability: With a low-profile pocket clip, it’s easy to carry discreetly.Cons:• Light-Duty Only: This knife is not designed for heavy-duty tasks.• Handle Comfort: The slim handle might not be comfortable for prolonged use.Overall, the CRKT CEO Flipper EDC Folding Pocket Knife is an excellent choice for anyone needing a stylish and functional knife for everyday desk tasks. It performs exceptionally well for light cutting needs and has a sophisticated design that blends seamlessly with other office tools. Highly recommended!

Just received. And seems awesome.
Great every day carry for even formal occasions. Bought as a replacement for a nice Case wood handled version that had a faulty pocket clip. Elegant alternative to the Case. Easy to open ( needs a bit of breaking in) with clean lines - would be at home in a 3 piece or tuxedo.

Almost perfect
Bought this knife here and loved it. The overall design is genius ( especially the flipper version). My only complaint is the same reason I didn’t give it a five star rating, which is the pocket clip. The pocket clip doesn’t grip firmly enough, resulting in it slipping out of my pocket, simply getting in and out of my car.I’m a knife enthusiast and most of the pocket knives I’ve owned have this problem.

I carry to work everyday
It is small enough to be easily mistaken as a pen. Fits in the shirt pocket. Sharp and handy. The name CEO is fitting. It fits in a business environment.

Excellent Price!!
CRKT (Columbia River Knife & Tool, often referred to as “CRicKeT”) are by far the BEST value in knives today. The company is awesome. Superb designs. Excellent blade steels. Great product support. I’ve heard they tried to sell their designs to a large knife company (maybe Gerber, Kershaw, I don’t remember exactly) back in the 80’s or 90’s. The well known knife company refused to produce their (CRKT) “cheap” knife designs. Fortunately, CRKT had their designs produced in Taiwan (with superb quality control & materials) & have since become a well recognized player in the knife industry. Easily on par with Gerber, Cold Steel & even Benchmade. Plus… incredibly AFFORDABLE!! I have probably 40 or more CRKT knives. My long time daily carry was a Gerber Fairbairn Sykes Covert Folder (I have every model made). But as soon as I saw the M16 folder, I’ve carried those for over 20 years. When I first saw the CEO series (3 years ago), I absolutely had to have it. At $50 it was more expensive than the M16 series, but more refined & more appropriate to a gentleman’s EDC. I’ve had numerous compliments for the regular CEO I first purchased (with thumb stud assisted opening). But after seeing & operating the CEO Flipper version, I bought 3! (Cheaper than thumb stud version & much nicer to open) I have 2 stainless blade models (1 was a gift for a friend), & the black bladed model. My ONLY con is they do not offer a partially serrated blade (my personal preference in knife blades). You will not be disappointed with this knife. Avoid the cheaper, mainland China knock-offs. They’re not that much cheaper & they certainly don’t have the fit & finish, nor the reliability of a genuine Cricket! 😎
