Lovely edition with an interesting, if non-essential, selection
I got this as I knew it would look great on the shelf - esp the blue metallic strips in boxes on the red spine with yellow print - and it's an interesting selection of early sci-fi, including by Edgar Rice Burroughs and Jack London, best known in other genres. It's a really nice edition, a bit inferior to the Barnes and Noble equivalents, but great value for well under twenty quid. Contents in no way essential (unless you don't already have War of the Worlds), more of a curiosity - but really nice.

Lovely presentation
A well presented hard cover book with a few great classic stories. Ideal as a gift for someone just getting into science fiction.

Get your magnifying glass out
Printed and made in China. All the gold trimming of pages and leather bind is cheap and nasty. You'll need a magnifying glass for the print as well.

Book it self look stunning but it came with big dent.
