The collars arrived quickly. They're bright, varied colors. The tension of the quick release is adjustable as per box instructions. The light reflecting stripe works to help me find my cats when power goes out! They're soft, comfy. Three adult Cats, and 2 of the kittens accepted them easily. Two kittens protested wearing them, letting me know with hisses & running! One of the two was able to open the latch. Every one else is still wearing theirs!I did notice that within the 2nd week, their scratching around the neck had caused strings to hang off of the collars. None of the strings are longer than 2". They don't annoy the Cats, nor are they causing the collars to unravel more. I knew that I was not buying a heavy duty collar with this set. But the price is very good for 12, colored, reflective collars. The most economic way to buy reflective collars for cats.Reliable vendor, wouldn't hesitate to order from this vendor again.

I love these for my outside cats. And they truly are breakaway. I love that they reflect as well. I can easily see my cats at night. And the bell let's me know they're coming when I'm outside feeding them. Love the colors too. Easily adjusted to the right size. The cats don't seem to mind them.

This is an excellent deal on 12 quality cat collars.The listing headline is a bit confusing - the "set" contains 12 collars and two capsules, which is listed as a "14 pack". These are high-quality collars, much better than others I've purchased at 5 times the price. At the time of this review, this set of 12 collars was under $10, which is a tremendous value.Each collar comes with an attached (removable) bell, that matches the color of the collar - a nice touch.The collars all have a safety latch that pulls apart if the collar gets snagged. I found the amount of force required to open the latch to be perfect. (If you'd like more or less, you can adjust the force required by bending the prongs on the latch). The set also includes two metal capsules which hold a small paper strip listing contact information.My main reason for ordering these was the reflective strip, which shows up very well, even on our puffy long-haired cat. (Our two cats have each lost a previous (more expensive) collar, so I figured this 12 pack would be a good idea, allowing us to have spares on-hand.)I personalized the collars with our cat's name and phone number using an acrylic art pen (available here on Amazon), which lays down a nice thin line of bright acrylic paint on the reflective strip. It worked perfect and is much easier to read and less likely to get snagged than attaching a tag to the collar.We are very pleased with these collars - excellent quality at an amazing price - 5 stars!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I foster through a rescue. I needed several colors to tell kittens apart. The title is misleading. It says "cat" and also says "kitten". In the search engine I used the word "kitten". These are too big to use for current foster kittens.
