Right off the bad, this product is great! It's the perfect starting place for your first weapon. I purchased a Walther PPQ M2, and needed a cleaning kit, and so without knowing too much about these kits, or even the gun I was getting, I decided to start off with this and see how it goes. To my surprise, this kit was perfect. It did everything I needed it to, and have used it on numerous occasions already, to clean and polish my firearm. I will say you'll end up using pretty much every tool in this kit, I did purchase in addition to what you see here, some gun oil, cleaner, and bore cleaning gel from another supplier, I review their products as well, and believe them to be one of the best companies out there for this sort of thing. Also you'll need more of the gauze pads—you'll be burning through these fairly quickly.I think the tools work great, they're sturdy, maybe a bit weak in the construction, but I've never had an issue. The container and red molding is also quite cheap looking and feeling, but it does the job very well, and the price is exactly right. So if you picked up a firearm, and are new to this whole thing, this is a great place to start for you. Also there is a cleaner/lubricator all-in-one included with this kit, so you can certainly just use this. But my recommendation is to get yourself some of the other products out there that will last you for a very very long time.Finally just wanted to touch on the case itself, it's build with a similar quality to a tackle box, but slightly thinner plastic. However it's great that this kit is built into this box, it makes for really easy storage, and doesn't look like an eye sore—something I certainly didn't think was a big deal, but definitely appreciated once I got it.

I bought this kit as a starter for my son. He has been using my cleaning supplies and surprised me by asking for his own. The best feature of this kit is the box to keep it in. The cheap plastic holder for patches was immediately thrown out and replaced with a brass jag. The number of patches included is basically enough to clean the firearm once or twice. The short rod is appropriate for clean hand guns.This is the type of kit that does the job and lets the user learn what works for him and what does not. He is also receiving a shotgun cleaning kit from the same manufacturer and the same comments apply there. To make the who thing usable I got him a 50 caliber ammo box that I have filled with much more useful goodies and supplies.If you are new to shooting, this kit will get you started in the basics of keeping your firearm clean. If you clean you gun every time you shoot it, it will probably last to pass down to your children and grandchildren. That is assuming the current government doesn't take them away from us.

There is a reason this kit has such good reviews. It is extremely well-made and will give service for life. I can't imagine how you could damage it. The stems are all metal, the handle is a hard molded plastic, and everything you need comes in a nice storage case. If you look at some of the comments on gun cleaning kits you might believe there is some "mystic" science that is required to get one that works. Well, there isn't. You just need something to push a rod with a brush or patch down the barrel... everything else you do by hand. Don't waste money buying the "perfect" gun cleaning tools. This kit has all that you will need, and the price is really good.

So I purchased this for my mother to clean her 9mm Beretta Nano, and found it works really well. The patches, brush, and bore cleaning products as well as the CLP work fantastic. The only qualm I have about this product is that the bore cleaning tube itself is a black material that looks like it will mar the rifling/finish inside of the barrel if you do not pass the cleaner through correctly. It's precisely this reason that I prefer to use a bore snake in my own personal firearms but admit for a first time kit it is essentially all you will need to get your pistol or revolver ready to go. I cleaned her Beretta Nano and a Smith and Wesson 28-2 with no issues whatsoever - it is an excellent kit if you are careful with the cleaning rod used on the bore. For that I give it 4 stars.

I think this is a great kit for the price. I originally ordered a cleaning kit of the berreta website. 10 days later they send me an email saying that the order has been cancelled because it was not in stock. That brought me to Amazon to order this kit and I am glad I did. It was cheaper than the other one I wanted to buy and I don't miss anything from the other one. I have not used to cleaner that comes with it because I prefer Hoppes 9 cleaner and Hoppes oil but a lot of people use the cleaner with good success. Just a personal preference for me. Everything else in the kit works great. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because the rod that it comes with does feel a little cheap. I do not think it will break but I wouldn't have minded it to be a little more sturdy. Still a great product for the money. My recomendation would be to buy it.

the only thing i would add to this is a brass cleaning brush, which i did buy separately.my only real complaint is that the bottle nozzle is utterly useless. buy a needle point applicator and get rid of the original oil bottle. the nozzle does not fit and if you try to put it on it'll fall inside the bottle

Pretty standard kit you can't go wrong with but if you're buying this with your first handgun (as I did), I would suggest buying a more diverse kit. This only works with the selected calibers but for a little more money, you can buy a kit that can service many different calibers (you can avoid having to buy extra tips and rods etc in the future). Also, as some previous reviewers stated, make sure you pick up a pack of cotton cloths along with the kit. The kit includes very few pieces of cloths (they go fast).The fluid is decent in removing carbon/copper fouling but I ended up buying a stronger solvent for dirtier (and cheaper) ammunition. Overall, a solid starter kit but I would suggest buying a more versatile kit in case you end up purchasing more and different gun calibers. (Most people, like my family, will eventually)

Excellent Starter Cleaning kit

Auf der Suche nach einem Kurzwaffen- Reinigungsset, bin ich auf das hier bei Amazon angebotene ,, Kleenbore " Set gestoßen. Kaufentscheidung war: Stabilität und das erfüllt dieses Set aus den USA. Aber warum man die Stäbe nicht mit einem ,,Plasteschlauch" überzogen hat, ist für mir ein Rätsel....ich habe ,, Schrumpfschlauch darüber gezogen '' weil ich es nicht riskieren will den Lauf zu beschädigen! !!!Eine Gewindeangabe (bei Umrüstung auf ein anderes Kaliber ) wäre auch nicht schlecht. Eine deutsche Anleitung sucht man auch vergeblich (Hinweise auf den mitgeliefertem Öl), wenn man von den paar Kleinigkeiten mal abgesehen trotzdem ein ordentliches Reinigungsset!!!mfg. vom Dreiläufer

Lieferung ohne Probleme.....Das Öl ist zwar gut, jedoch bevorzuge ich ein Öl zum Spritzen, aber gut, das soll jetzt nicht das Problem sein.Wie ein Vorgänger schon erwähnte die Teile sind aus Metall und fast nicht kaputt zu bekommen, jedoch sollte man aufpassen da man die Waffe beschädigen kann wenn Metall an Metall reibt also ist Vorsicht geboten. Für ein Anfänger Set ausreichend da alle wichtigen Dinge vorhanden sind. Und der Preis ist auch in Ordnung.

oder wenn nur eine Waffe zu reinigen ist perfekt.Finger weg von den chinesischen Billigangeboten-die Stahlbürsten ruinieren den Lauf !

KleenBore Waffenreinigung Set, alles drin was benötigt wird. Preislich finde ich es persönlich ein wenig überteuert. Hat womöglich mit dem Anstieg der Waffenbesitzkarten Besitzer zu tun. Angebot/ Nachfrage. € 24,99 wären angemessen
