Accurate but so expensive
So expensive but there’s cheaper options out there.I use Hanna products on my reef aquarium but a refractometer is just as good for a third of the price.

Junk and inaccurate!
I have owned two of these salinity testers in the past six months. Both failed and constantly give absolutely bogus readings when I require precision (actual salinity: 1.026 / HANNA: 1.023. Joke and a rip off!

Not so good
Having had one of these for a few months I can say they are quite good however the value for money is shockingly bad considering a basic refractor will do the same job more constantly than the hanna checker. When it works it is very quick and easy to use but after a couple of uses or if left for any amount of time the callabration needs to be done again which means buying more and more callaboration packets evey time you want to use it.In short save you money and get a traditional refractor as they do the same for a fraction of the cost.
