I live in a small Manhattan apartment. I was originally going to get a sexy stainless steel one but couldn't get myself to pay $100 for a thing that ultimately just holds garbage. I rent and ultimately, the sexy garbage can was placed lower in my priorities. That being said... I still didn't want an ugly cheap garbage can. Slim profile is great for smaller spaces. Fits right against my fridge. Gray color isn't a stark and insightly white or black. Design is still modern and sleek looking, even though it's plastic. I love the slow closing mechanism. I did miss the ability to hide the rim of the bag, but again, it's a low priority. There were other $20 plastic options, but they were cheap, bulky, and hideous looking. I read some reviews about it moving around but.. it's plastic and lightweight, so what do you expect? Overall very happy to have this mid range quality of option.

Perfect size. Nice opening mechanism that soft closes. You can of course lift it manually to keep it fully open so you can toss things in while cooking. Being plastic it's very light so I'm going to follow others suggestion about weighing the bottom down with a water bottle or something heavier like a metal plate. I'm probably going to install a wood frame to keep it positioned kind of like a wheel chock; basically a thick board behind the wheels with some side guides. I'm pleased to report that it works with the 13 gallon Amazon trash bags; snug fit.

I was worried about this trash can after the reviews about attaching the lid but the lid was already attached! It is the right size, weight and love the locking lid and pedal opening features! This is absolutely perfect for our motorhome.

After looking at other stores for a trash can to fit my space in my camper and not finding anything I turned to Amazon. This trash can first my narrow opening perfectly. It’s good quality and works as it should. I love the locking lid so my dogs and kids can’t get in the trash.

Used in kitchen. Love the “no hands/touch” feature in the pedal. Poor design for leakages. Also, the leverage plate (underneath) could be stronger/thicker. It broke on our 1st can, so the foot lever wouldn’t work after that. Over all, the slim rectangular design is great for narrow spaces, and the trash bags (regular 13 gallon bag) fit snug on the can, so the bag does not collapse into the can.

Lock is a little hard to do but keeps the pups out! Wish it was taller and offered in stainless steel. Great for the price and.gets the job done

Fits narrow space. Foot pedal works well. Soft close lid is nice touch. Back wheels are a bonus. Lock feature (which does work but takes 2 hands) is helpful when our dog is left alone in house! Very satisfied.

My pets are crazy good at getting into the garbage. The first day I brought it home. Left the kitchen gate open and went to the garage for a few hours. When I came back in the can was tipped over, and the bag was shredded, but it remained closed!

Arrived as scheduled in big, awkward to carry, cardboard box. This looks exactly as described and pictured in ad. I have an 8 and 9 yr old who liked the step on, lift up/close and lock. I didn't find this garbage pail sturdy enough to use in my kitchen.
