Awesome life saver
Really good product. I use a pond boss floating fountain. I have a large amount of duck weed and algae. No matter what I did between making my own devices with mesh bags they didn’t work and would clog after about 4-6 days if not sooner. I’ve had this on for about a month now and haven’t had to pull the pump once and flow is almost 100% still.Highly recommend for anyone with a fountain that’s clogging. Took about 5 minutes to install super easy and has room to work with around pump.

Better than the $250 filter!
Treat yourself and get this prefilter. I have had ponds for 30 years and always purchased expensive UV pond filters which are located next to the pond. These large canister style filters are ugly and not east to clean. On a whim I purchased this prefilter and was amazed! It works better than the expensive Laguna filter, is easier to clean, and I don’t have to figure out how to hide it with a fake rock or plants. I am not easily impressed and rarely leave reviews but was compelled to this time. Great product.

Works great
I encased my 2hp sump/trash pump with filter. The pump has clogged a couple of times in the past. Big rain, pump worked perfectly filled a 20,000 catch tank with the water running off my 1-1/2 acre lot that I had channeled to my sump area. That will water my trees here in Tucson, where water is scarce, for many months.

Just a very expensive mesh bag. No filter media.
Very disappointing to open the package and find that this is not a filter. It is just a mesh bag. Returning.

Great time saver
Our pond has a lot of algae so the pump would get clogged frequently. Purchased this and we didn't have to pull the pump once this season.

Excellent product and easy to clean. I no longer have to worry about my pump clogging up quickly. I recommend this filter and bag to anyone who uses a waterfall pump but does not have a dedicated filtering system.

picture is not correct
I was disappointed when I recieved this item. it appears in the photo that its 1 piece. it is actually pieces of foam media with a mesh bag. there is no way for it to fit around a pump without rigging it together some how. seller charged me a restocking fee for returning it!
