Is this plastic sure not to break at some point?

The plastic is nice and thick and I don't worry about it breaking. That being said, there's no guarantee that anything you buy will not break over time, due to wear and tear. This item works so well it's simply not an issue for me.

Why does this claim made in usa when it ships from china? that's just wrong!

Made in USA should mean just that!! Let’s not give anymore $ to China. Demand that companies bring back manufacturing to USA!

Do you have to worry about messing up the sheets when pulling out?

only a little, but once you have the fitted sheet in place, use the lifter to push in any bagging or overhang...once you devise your own system for making the bed, it'll be easier....I actually have four of these so that each side of the bed is lifted just enough so that I can tuck in the fitted corners and about a foot down from the headboard....I start making my bed from the headboard down to the footboard

Does it work well if you have a bed skirt in place?

It does work well if you have a bed skirt. If you find that the bed skirt "pushes in with the sheets" you just have to tip the tool up, so it doesn't get caught on the bed skirt seam. To place a bed skirt, using 2 tools makes the job a breeze. Just place one tool on each side of the mattress like can be seen in the videos on YouTube. Then work your way up the mattress pulling the bed skirt on or off.

This really helps make the bed!

This is one of those things you dont realize you need till you get one. I have always had some difficulty making up our king size bed. And now that I'm older - even more so. This gadget really does what it says it does! Much easier to make bed with much less strain on hands, arms and back!

Making the bed made easy.

They allow making the bed so much easier without the added pain lifting a heavy mattress. I feel the price is way too expensive for one however after buying one i found that having two is the most useful. The price for one should be for two.
