


The "dovetail point" side table replicates the dovetail arrowhead used for hunting by the woodland era people (1000 bce-1000 ce). They are found throughout the eastern united states. The slow chipping process used by ancient man to fashion points from flint. Each "dovetail point" side table features a leather inlay, studded with Indian head nickels, to represent the leather binding used to attach the point to the arrow or spear shaft.
