The kit is a joke and going back. Your Complete Water Quality Test Kit Cannot Be Used To Checked Safe Water Is A Joke And A Rip Off!!!! The Kit Only Provides Approximate Results!!! What Is The Purpose Or Value Of The Kit Who Would Legitimately Want To Test For Approximately. Also Your Test Includes Tests Without Any Test What So Every In The Kit You Claim 14 Tests But Putting Water In A Glass And Looking At It If There Is Iron Bacteria And Smelling It For Sulfur Is Not A Test Why Would I Pay For Smelling My Water! My Water Is Clear And Does Not Smell But It Does Have Iron Bacteria And Sulfur As Per A Testing Lab#1 The instructions say Complete Water Test Kit test CANNOT be used to certify water as safe or unsafe for drinking the test kit provides approximate results ONLY#2 Several tests do not include any test strips at all example put water in glass and look at sediment if it looks feathery its bacteria?

I'm a little suspicious...every test was perfect and clean. My water tastes and looks good, I just am not sure how any water tests this perfectly. I will confirm with another source before I trust this result.

this test recommends that you smell your water to detect the presence of hydrogen sulfide, yeah DUH, I can smell it, I wanted to know how much there is so I can make a smart decision on mitigation. it also gives you some +- style results on some very nasty contaminants that really wont give you actionable data.

Easy, accurate and high value kit with lab backup

I got what I paid for, some of the test strips worked but the iron and nitrate/nitrite test strips never went to positive or negative. I worked in a laboratory for 10 years so don't think this was operator error. The iron didn't bother me as I know my mother's well is heavy in iron (so it should have turned positive). However I wanted to see if there was any manure contamination so was interested in the nitrate / nitrite test. The pesticide test was negative so hope I can trust those results.

Did the job. We had to have our well water analyzed for a home inspection and used this kit. It's one time use. It takes a couple of days to get the full results.
