The 5000, especially the most recent version, is certainly a decent pedal. Although I get the sense that too many avowed 5000 fans, it seems to have much to do with nostalgia or brand loyalty, or the simple fact they never bothered trying anything else.I, for one, like doing due diligence, especially on things as important as the bass drum pedal is for drums. With that, I find the 5000 to be a decent pedal, competitive in it’s price range, which could’ve been vastly improved with two simple fixes, namely 1) a felt sprocket to cut down on the chain noise, and 2) a smooth foot board to allow better movement. Well, I suppose making those two improvements might put the 9000 out of business, hence it remains so.Without a doubt, DW will continue selling the 5000 by the caseload, but for newer players, it might be a different market, given the competitive marketplace for pedals these days.

un po troppo il tempo di attesa per il resto l oggetto era ben protetto nell imballaggio e perfettamente funzionante
