I am completely HAPPY with this exercise mat! It is constructed so very well. It's thicker, yet sturdier than most I've seen. Of course, it is larger than typical mats. I mean, 6'X4' is substantial. If you have the space, get this mat! It comes with a storage bag and velcro straps to keep it rolled, which helps to put it back in the bag. But, because it also has these straps, you don't really even need the storage bag. I'm not sure if I just got super lucky, but, they surprised me with a gift in the packaging as well! Update: 01/14/2020Now that we’ve had the mat for a few weeks I thought it might be a good time to give some more thoughts. It’s size has really been a great factor in how more usable this is than the normally much smaller mats you see in stores. Our last mat was starting to peel and really show its wear after a couple of years, but I can see this lasting much longer...it’s just very solid. On that note, although it may not appear that thick, but it feels just right. It gives enough absorption, but we remains firm enough to give proper support. No problems with this moving around on our wood floor, either. We just leave it laying out all the time in our workout room, and don’t have to worry about damaging it without shoes or anything, it’s so durable. I can also add this company actually cares about ensuring it’s customers satisfaction. They’ve made sure I was more than happy with my mat, and it’s been much appreciated!Really high quality mat. Seems to be very durable though time will tell. It came rolled and not folded, so there are no creases. My wife really loves the mat, so that’s what really matters, lol. A plus is that it looks really good in the workout room! Will post pics soon. So sad, I highly recommend this mat.

Great for exercises, I do hiit workouts on it, the mat itself does not slide when I do jumps. It's not good for yoga though, my hands slip when I do downward dog.

With the "work from home" change that some of us are going through, and the fact that the gyms are closed, that means I have to try to make up for that by working out more at home. I've started doing some online aerobics and sculpting type of classes, so I really needed a mat like this.My biggest concerns buying this sight-unseen was it's durability and comfort. How did it feel to walk/slide/jump on, and how durable is it?I'm very pleased on both of those counts. This seems to be made of high quality material, that has some "give" to it (for kneeling, doing sit-ups etc), but it's also not "mushy" for doing aerobics. I really like it, I just wish you offered it in, say, 7'x4' or 7'x5'Edit: Although I do love the mat, I don't love the company. After buying this you'll get a series of bizarre emails from them, written in broken english, seemingly trying to get you to email them and get on their spam list (and likely selling the list to others I'm guessing). Be aware of this when deciding to do business with them.

With the recent global pandemic shutting down gyms and exercise facilities, like most folks, I had to resort to home workouts.My exercise of choice during this quarantine time is burpees and lots of them. Normally, I would just do them outside. A few weeks ago, we had a string of inclement weather days. I began searching for an exercise mat that I can use either indoors or outdoors and came across an online article tauting the GXMMAT. I did some research, read a lot of reviews and finally purchased one. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. The mat came with instructions, a nice storing bag and a pair of workout gloves. The next day I gave the GXMMAT a test workout: 100 Two Push Up Burpees and 100 Air Squats. The GXMMAT held up during all that movement. At no time did it shift or move out from under me. It was comfortable during the push ups and there was no slippage. The extra gloves were an added bonus. I would definitely purchase this exercise mat again.
