The media could not be loaded. This Uten Sewing Machine has helped me start my clothing line. It's an unbeatable purchase. I can't believe I didn't pay more for such an amazing sewing machine. The quality in the stitching is perfect, it's easy to use and it has a screen that shows you everything you need during stitching. You can choose out of 200 different stitch styles by pressing up or down it shows you when your threading is low, the foot pedal is light and easy to press down on and it helps to press down lightly when sewing any curves or corners. It does all the work in more than half the time I could by hand so I get so many pieces done in a shorter period of time. I love this sewing machine. My first sewing machine ever and it's the best one!

My decade old Juki F400 died. I've bought and returned several different sewing machines from Amazon in the last few weeks, from mechanical to computerized. There are no dealers near me to do a test drive. So I made a decision to buy this off brand computerized machine. Surprise, surprise. This is a hidden gem of a machine. For less than $115!! Sweet. Stitches are good. Has a front loading bobbin which I really prefer (until the Juki it is the only bobbin type I had ever used in 50+ years). Needle threader. Not too loud. No clunky noise when turning on. Vertical spool posts. Needle positioning. SPEED CONTROL, never knew just how helpful that feature was. Just did a quick trial run upon receipt but will follow up in a few weeks. Let's just say, I can buy one of these every year if need be and still be better off than buying another $1000 machine.Update: Max stitch length would be too short for basting. Not an issue I hand baste. Min stitch length is extremely tiny, would probably bee good for paper piecing. Looks like the max stitch length will be my default setting. Stitch widths are good. Did an excellent blind stitch when hemming a pair of knit slacks. Balanced and even bobbin winding.

I bought this because it has some nice border stitching I wanted. I hand stitch flour sack dish towels, I wanted something for the hems to fancy them up.This machine has 200 stitches & I love it.The needle threader is a bear, but with a lot of practice it can be done. I just got a magnifier & hand threaded the needle. It is a very quiet machine, easy to use & yes, I would recommend it to anyone.The plastic bobbin cover is hard to buy a replacement for. I'm still having problems finding one. The suggested ones don't fit.Other than that, yes, buy it, it's a very nice machine.

I want to start off by saying I am not a beginner when it comes to using a sewing machine. I purchased this machine because I needed a new machine and this one had everything I was looking for. It took me a few weeks to finally use, but after only using 2 times I began having issues. I tried to troubleshoot myself following the instruction book that came in the box and nothing worked! Due to being past the return date I could not return. I reached out to the manufacturer and even sent a video of the issue. They responded to me once and I never received a follow up on what to do about the broken machine. Wasted money on a useless machine!

I bought this machine to replace a 30 year old Kenmore that just didn’t want to stitch anymore. My wife got it up and working in no time. It had a lot of different stitches but she tends to only use 3-4 of them.

I was excited to use this machine. I'm definitely a novice and the instructions are not the best so I watched a few YouTube videos to see what it could do - it seemed like a great little machine. Upon unboxing I was surprised how plasticy it is, making me wonder the durability of it in the long term. My old machine is about 30 years old and weighs a ton. But this one does say portable so maybe that's what they had to do. A few pieces were NOT wrapped in paper or plastic which seemed suspicious at first. Then one part was clearly dirty. This was a gift and the giver said the unit was listed as NEW. I believe it was refurbished at best. Load it up and it kept jamming. I tried different types of thread and changed the tension, same thing. That's when I went on to Amazon to read the reviews on this and saw others complained of the same issues. I ended up sending it back. But the return was easy so 5 stars for that.
