Does anyone know what this toy is made out of?

It is supposedly made with wood, but the other ingredients are not listed. Because the toy is really hard, I would think that it was some sort plastic type material...but, again there is no way of finding out what the toy is made from. After asking the company myself, I received the answer that it was made of "non-toxic" ingredients, but no listing of ingredients was given.

does it last for a pit bull that likes to chew

I have a pit bull and this is the only thing that he hasn’t chewed up into pieces. He works hard to get the little bits off. He has an incredible urge to chew so he uses his several times a day and during the night. It lasts about two weeks before I have to purchase another. It gets shorter as he works on it and at that time I’m afraid he will swallow it. But this is the only product that I trust for him.

Other than wood, what is this made of? My dog goes crazy for this toy. I suspect it has some sort of flavoring or animal product in it.

This is the description from the manufacture: Has a natural wood smell to attract dogs attention - It is actually real wood combined with synthetic materials. -

where are they made? USA?

I noticed that only the "super dogwood" states "materials made in usa" and then on the back of the package states "made in china." So if you stick with the regular dogwood the package states made in usa. My dogs do like it and it does last although I have to pick up little bits of it after a chew session. I have a 1 year old golden retriever and a rhody/amstaff mix.
