Everything You Need for your First Cake!
The media could not be loaded. This was my first cake decorating kit and I love it!! The kit was perfect for decorating my first cake for my Galentine’s Day party. Comes with pretty much everything you need. This is definitely hobby quality though and I wouldn’t use this for professional use. The piping tips are NOT labeled which is kind of difficult if you were looking for a specific size and shape. The piping tips are also a little small if you were wanting thick borders. But that’s not a huge issue because you can buy individual piping tips from Wilton for pretty cheap. Great starter kit!!Pros:- Great value for everything you’re getting!- Contains everything you need to decorate a cake- Everything works as it should, no problems with quality if this is a hobby purchaseCons:- Not the best quality if this is for professional use- Piping tips are not labeled- Piping tips are a little small for thick bordersI included a pic of my first decorated cake! It was so so much fun. I found a recipe for buttercream frosting and whipped it up with my hand mixer. My cake was a single layer and I definitely recommend stacking two layers. I watched a lot of videos on tiktok on how to decorate and practiced on a sheet of non-stick paper. The cons are not that bad considering the price point. For the price, you can expect that these materials are not going to be professional-grade. But the kit had everything I needed!!

Perfect for beginners
It has everything necessary for decorating a cake. The turntable works perfectly, it spins smoothly and quickly if needed. Great range of piping tips and all pieces are amazing quality especially for the price.

Turntable sucks
Everything came and it looked like a decent cake kit, but I found that the turntable doesn’t work even with the slightest bit of pressure of it. You have to manually have one person hold the bottom and then turn the table on your own as your icing or decorating the cake, which is disappointing. This was the one thing I was really looking forward to having to be able to start decorating cakes.
