Functional and my other half loves it

I was looking for something like this for my Mom, who is in a nursing home. She has a flimsy one that the hospital gave her but I wanted something that didn't leak and was more solid. I looked in 3 different stores and didn't find these (Rite Aid, Walgreens and Walmart). Hence, why even try sometimes at the local retail store - I waste a lot of time. Ugh. Back to the reviewThis is thick plastic and easy to open. It doesn't leak and Mom likes the little basket so she doesn't have put her entire hand in it to fish for her teeth - her words not mine. HahaIf she loses this I know exactly where to get the next one.

I just received the item 5 minutes ago. It arrived in a VERY OVERSIZED thinly padded envelope. The container was inside of a thin cardboard box (as pictured) and both hinges were broken. Not exactly a quality/durable item. I wasn't expecting much from a $6 cleaning tray, but I was at least not expecting it to show up already busted before it was used a single time.

I bought the product for my retainers. I received the standard blue one in great condition. It doesn't doesn't close air tight for traveling but is perfect for everyday use. I sit mine on the counter top and it doesn't take up too much space.I love it and I've had it for a couple of months now with no issues. Very easy to clean. It is also very deep so your retainers or dentures are completely submerged. I wish that we could choose the color that we receive, however it's not the biggest issue. Overall, I highly recommend this product.I love that you can pull up the insert to take out your retainers or dentures so that you don't have to stick your fingers in the water.

You get what you. pay for. It works but is not air tight. Leaks everywhere if turned even a bit over. Plastic is very thin. I don't expect the hinges to last long, at least not as long as the last container I had did. I had that one from the dentist. The hinges broke after 5 plus years of every night use. It might even be longer than that. I'd be surprised if this one lasts for more than 2 years if that. Other than that it serves it's function.
