Very annoying read
I tried to read this, but their writing style is obnoxious. Way too many music references. Just spit out the information we all want to know and save the extra stuff for something else. Pass.

Great informative book
Great book. If you have gut issues, which many of us do and I have in mounds!!! Straight talking book that’s in layman’s terms. You’ll learn a lot if you have gut issues. Chewing your food properly and eating fermented foods are the main tips I have taken from this book. Recommended.

Bit childish
Im begrudgingly giving this book four stars. It provides a lot of good info in small paragraphs in good sized print, so in that regard it should be an easy read. I'd give it less because I'm finding it difficult to scratch my way through the childish and drawn out way the twins have chosen to deliver the information. However I've just taken one star off because I have to be reasonable. It's a very peppy & probably written to appeal to the masses book. Which is sort of what im struggling with. I don't want to have to follow along with an exuberant story about how the gut is an orchestra. It's just over the top and a bit much, and would probably appeal to teens.Overall though, there's a lot of info written in an aesthetically pleasing way & it's likely the only book any lay person would need, to know the important things on their way to gut health.

All the essential basics of gut health
I love the way the Mac twins make the complex topic of gut health simple and approachable. A great starting guide for anyone looking at improving their knowledge. Packed with lots of information and I loved the easily readable sections by the experts.

Hard reading but good content
The fancy font used make this book a very hard read, you need bionic glasses to read the faint text. White text on light pink F F S ....Otherwise well presented just terribly designed
