I was able to install through the ethernet. can i play the dac through wifi?

If I’m understanding your question correctly… it depends on the software being used, this acts as a sound card for your Pi. If you’re using HiFiBerry OS then the answer is yes. My setup is a Pi 4 with the DAC + ADC Pro and the AAMP60 running HiFiBerry OS . This made it a wonderful standalone player that plays through WiFi and can be controlled by anything with a browser on the same network.
