This item seems to come from China though the seller wouldn't say. The assembly, including the attachment to a chair, is supported by a step by step schematic which has several deficiencies including a parts depiction in which two different parts look identical in the schematic and a failure to specify the chair leg is what is being shown in one of the steps. Once you get past this, the attachment to the chair can be tricky with very limited space for the wrenches to tighten the two brackets. The mouse pad attachment, with Velcro, to one of the chair arms is a joke and the straps used my actually impede the functioning of the button that raises and lowers the arms on some chairs. The aforementioned bracket that attaches to the bottom of the chair may, in some cases, require you to raise the height of the chair for the brackets to fit. And, when you are done the , the keyboard tray is not level but tilts down to the right and cannot be fully centered in front of you as it is obstructed by the mouse pad. With a keyboard that has a numeric keypad on the right this means you will be slightly skewed to the left for any typing unless you lower the keyboard so it can go below the mouse pad. I would strongly consider returning this item as, even now, the keyboard tends to swivel away while I type but having put this much effort into the product I will first try to make it work better rather then looking for a replacement.
