Par Excellence Producers Yellow Rice, 3.5 lb.

I have a family who loves yellow rice. Chicken and yellow rice, black beans and yellow rice, ham and yellow rice. They LOVE yellow rice dishes. So when I found this large sized container, I decided to try it. Oh my goodness ! It's delicious ! It's handy to have around. It makes a lot. I bought two containers, but I've made two or three batches of it, 2 cups at a time, and I still have at least 3 1/2 or 4 cups left in the first container ! Economical, delicious, and easy. By the way, I make this in my microwave rice cooker. Follow the directions for the oil, rice and water, amounts, on the container. Into the microwave rice cooker on high power for 20 minutes. When the bell goes off, don't open the microwave. Just, let it rest in the unopened microwave for 10-15 minutes, to finish cooking from the residual heat. It comes out perfect. Fluffy, beautiful and tasty ! We love it.

good rice with some flavor

Used to buy this at Sam’s Club through delivery. Now you have to order $50 minimum to avoid shipping charge even with their plus membership. Dropped SAMS and buy from Amazon. Cooks extremely easily in the microwave with the Systema microwave rice cooker. You can also do it in a regular rice cooker on in the stove top but it is so easy in the microwave and everything goes in the top rack of the dishwasher. It’s very tasty and looks like you slaved over a rice side dish, I have never added cooked protein to it but you could and have it as part of a main dish.

I followed the directions for 2 cups of the rice and add a bag of frozen Great Value diced chicken breast and it comes out perfect!!! It's perfectly seasoned not too much salt if you have high blood pressure it won't raise it!!! It's also great with a little green salsa. Very easy to prepare

This rice can't possibly be healthy, but its so good! It's My new cooking companion. The price was perfect. It arrived on time. It cooks in no time. It's already seasoned so I don't add salt, but do add garlic herb, Chinese herb, etc. seasonings to Our liking. It's also easy to add mixed veggies, or just greens to make a quick spinach rice. Lovely color.

We Love this yellow rice . Economical with fast shipping and priced fairly. I cook it in my rice cooker 1 cup of rice to 2 cups of water or broth comes out perfectly every time . Makes chicken and yellow rice a snap . Great in all Spanish -Tex Mex -And Mexican dishes . Highly recommended .
