Well-made, and perfect size
I was looking for one of these bags because although I have the trunk on both my Harleys with me and my girlfriend on a weeklong trips it’s just not enough storage so I bought this to put on top of the trunk. It’s very sturdy works great.I also looked at Similar bags that Harley Davidson makes But none of these bags were waterproof. This bag comes with a rain fly to protect It from getting wet the Harley ones didn’t so I went with this one and I love it. It has dual zippers so you can actually put a tiny padlock on it to lock your things inside.

Wonderful Bag!
I love this bag (though I kind of wish I had gotten the bigger one). It holds the stuff I need for my commute (sometimes with a little encouragement). Straps seem to be pretty strong, and they attached to my bike just fine. The zipper can be a little temperamental sometimes, but it's a minor annoyance. Also, Nelson-Rigg = Lifetime Warranty.

Great for travel
It holds the same amount of stuff as an airplane carry-on bag. When you get to your destination just unbuckle it and bring it in. Seems like a high quality bag. Comes with rain cover.

Excellant Value
We routinely take extended trips on the bikes (10-12k/yr) and I needed something not too bulky to carry up to the Hotel rooms, not difficult to attached and disconnect, but could hold enough stuff for 4-5 days of travel. This is exactly what I needed. The straps are easy to attach, it has enough space, etc. We have definitely rode thru some rain, it is inevitable, but I have not had any leakage yet. Granted, it has not sat in a torrential pour, but light rain on the highway has been fine. It does come with an optional rain cover btw. Only thing I had to do, which isn't the Manufacturer's issue, is put a piece of 1x6 on my luggage rack to extennd it out as the bag is about 6-8" deeper and the front half had no support under weight. This would've cause the floor of the bag to flex too much. You can somewhat see the wood in the pic. Either way, works great on my Fatboy.

Affordable and incredibly useful.
I returned to motorcycling after a prolonged absence from the sport. I chose a Can Am Ryker Rally as my mount. While there are many accessories available from Can Am for this machine, additional storage on the bike for Touring or commuting is limited. The Nelson Rigg bag is significantly larger than the largest LinQ bag available for this bike. Plus the Nelson Rigg bag is a rectangle shape with a domed lid so large items of like shape easily go inside. Most tour bags for this and other bikes have rounded shapes, square items won’t easily store inside. The Nelson Rigg bag holds a Igloo insulated lunch box plus a carry bag holding 3 qt beverage containers with lots of room left over for soft items like a light jacket or rain pants around the hard items. Once at work, those items go with me and my Shoei modular helmet (larger than a regular full face helmet) fits right in with plenty of room for soft garments or other such around it. Plus, the sturdy zipper is lockable using standard travel luggage locks and it comes with a rain cover that fits in its own compartment for storage and is very effective. The LinQ bag has no such lock ability and, because of its shape, limited as to what will fit (not a helmet or lunchbox!!). This bag has expanded the utility of this motorcycle from a weekend runabout to a serious daily commuter and medium range tourer. In the pictures the Nelson Rigg bag is on the rear aftermarket luggage rack behind the LinQ bag. I may trade in the Ryker for a Spyder but I’m keeping this Nelson Rigg bag.
