Ashwagandha is a small herb native to India. Its roots are favored in Ayurvedic healing for the strength they are believed to impart. Indian culture has utilized Ashwadanha as a traditional herbal tea for centuries. It is naturally caffeine free and soothes and relaxes the mind and body. Ashwagandha has long been known as "Indian Ginseng" in Ayurvedic medicine, because of their belief that it is such a strong anti-inflammatory relaxation aid. As with most superfoods, Ashwagandha is also antioxidant rich. Moringa Source Ashwagandha tea contains only USDA Organic Ashwagandha root. It is Non-GMO and naturally caffeine and gluten free.

Seems pretty good from what I can tell
This review may be a little unfair because I haven't tried any other Ashwaganda teas. It does seem to be pure root of decent quality, but I was hoping to turn my dad onto this, and it is rather too bland. Not particularly bad for a medicinal herb, but someone unconvinced of its benefits is not going to try this for the long term. I don't use it regularly myself, so I can't really comment on its medicinal benefits. Maybe if you like honey in your tea, that might make it palatable. I'm not convinced that encapsulated root is not the better way to go, though.

Terrible taste negates supposed benefits
Read about the health benefits of this product, but it is only helpful if you can drink it. I could not; the taste is terrible no matter how long I boil the bags or steep them.

MILD, BUT OKAY
This is a very mild-flavored tea. It wasn't as robust as I prefer, so I gave it to a friend who likes this type of flavor.
