Switchcraft - Still the best
Switchcraft quality - the best. The only jack with the reliability required for live performance.

Easy
I was nervous at first to attempt the installation, what I figured it out. Drilling into the instrument and soldering , were the two most stressful parts

A little pricey for a jack, but a nice component
Switchcraft quality is well known. This jack does what you'd expect - it creates a nice tight secure connection between your instrument and the cable. I'm not a metalsmith, but people in the industry tend to laud Switchcraft for the quality of their materials, so I'll take them at their word. It's a touch expensive for a jack and I think there are some other worthy contenders out there. (I'll try to link something I think is a better bang for your buck, but I don't know if Amazon scrubs links from these reviews or not. If they do...oh well, I tried). That said, even though it's a little much for a tiny piece of metal, it's a worthy upgrade if you're having connection issues with your instrument. Cheaper jack that creates an even better/tighter connection linked below: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F9TRP6GH

Works Great
Simple switch, Installed in custom Super strat to replace the one that came with the jack plate. A bit bigger than the hole, not an issue I dremeled it just a hair and fits tight, wired easy, no noise, great for money spent,

Sni snick
Grabs your cord and its not going anywhere. Guitar i put in is a squier 70s vm strat. Decent guitar but cmon fender gonna cut corners somewhere. The orig jack feels like tin compared to this. I see this as a replace and forget. Sounds silly but a wonky jack makes plaaying ZERO FUN. O directions included but hey you tube is your friend. These should be standard on all guitars. Its that good honestly. They cheap tin plugs are sad. You will not be disappointed. One of the best purchases ive made for my guitar. Didnt make me play better but my clumsy feet are humbled.
