Easy install and quality made...made my Miata look like a real sports car!

Bought this hub adapter along with an extension, and not the quick release because I don't necessarily need that function. To install this without destroying your clockspring, I removed the backside gold grounding wheel (?) that contained the grounding wire for the horn button. This lets you keep the clockspring and all the annoying hassle with the horn wire. Cut the 3 wire plug, and spliced the horn wire longer to reach the new aftermarket horn button. Soldered a wire onto the horn button ground and connected it to the extended factory horn wire. Working horn button!

So! If you have a 1990 Miata with no airbag. This thing works great! "Plug and play" Keeps all functionality. If you put a flat steering wheel it's going to be a tight fit for your hands. Remedy this by getting a spacer or a quick disconnect. If you have an airbag. Well you will have a lot of modification to do to get functions or you will have to lose some functions. So for the ones without an airbag this is a great addition.

The slim hub fit my 91 Na Miata with out any issues. My Na does not have factory air bags so it was a direct fit with out any modifications to the clock spring. I paired the slim hub with a NRG quick release.
