Flowtech 11500FLT Long Tube Header - Black Paint

I have been hot rodding and drag racing for 30+ years now and have always told people to get good headers, the cheap ones will always cause you headaches that make the more expensive ones a better deal. When I decided to price a set to replace the 20+ year old ones on my 78 gmc 4x4, I looked at Hooker comps, which I have always had good results with. Prices were in the 4-450 range which would be fine for my street car, but I beat on my truck pretty hard, its a toy for having fun in, and reality, there was a pretty good chance I could destroy a new set of headers on my next trip out (last ones cracked around the collector/primary welds after breaking all 4 exhaust hangers) The price on these headers got me to look at them, they were also the closest to what I had on the truck as far as design and dimensions. At purchase I did not like the exhaust port flanges because they seemed wimpy and I figured they would have the standard issues that come with cheap headers; sealing issues due to primary tube and exhaust port shape and alignment, bolts loosening and gaskets blowing out due to flanges being not rigid enough, and having to install them multiple times due to clearance issues requiring a dimple here and a dent there. Upon reading many reviews on these, I bought these and was not disappointed in any way, and when I saw how thick the flanges were, my concerns about cheap header issues went away. They also were great on matching the port location and shape at the head, and had consistent clearances for the bolts on the primaries and good clearance at the starter. I am convinced the price is lower due to savings from reduced labor and scrapped material by using cnc tube bending tooling.

I put this on my 355 sbc on a budget.Not only did they fit terrific, they are coated really well. I was putting my engine in and grazed the headers a couple times and they are barely even scratched up I’m happy they are durable.Also wipe down easily ! Will buy again definitely

Fit my 1981 chevy k20 Silverado with vortec 350 perfectly. Comes painted with header paint, gaskets and collector adapters. They are very nice headers for the price and I would recommend them.

seems to be a good product, my 67 c10 is pretty low and they drag on everything due to the length and weird angle they come down at

Bought this for my husband who is restoring a '85 Chevy. He was very pleased with the purchase.

No place in them install o2 sensors and will have to order brackets for a Ac and power steering pump, not included.

This was a perfect fit for my 1978 Chevrolet C10 Small Block Chevy 350 Straight plug Aluminum Heads, there is enough space between the headers and the chasis so dont worry about that, spark plugs they can be installed perfectly dont have to bang on anything, it was installed in blue print aluminum heads straight spark plugs, the headers come with everything they need they also fit on the original heads. The sound is amazing I just painted a fresh coat of ceramif flame resistant spray on it before installing. 100% recomended they perform great!

Good product so far. Went right in my 1985 gmc k2500 with a 350. Make sure you go back and torque the bolts a few times after running as the black oxide ones will stretch an little bit

Installed in oct 2021, and by march 2022 they were heaps of rust... they wont last very long. They did the trick. They are cheap ... and inexpensive. I wouldent buy them again. I would spend a little more money on some better material.

Love the headers! Sound great on my 74 gmc van.They shoot a little low under the van but I typically don’t go down super hectic trails so it’s not a concern. Would recommend.Also they clear pretty well on a g1500 van if anyone’s wondering.

great product,dry fit was flawless on my 72 c10.next set though I will spend more and get the ceramic coated ones.

My old headers were of unknown make. These fit the existing exhaust pipes perfect.
