Does not change colors right out of the box, feature doesn't seem to work. Otherwise its a decent night light

I love these little lights! I have a white one similar to this, yet several differences as well. I really like the compact size and bright capabiity of these lights. This particular one has 2 lighting settings, one is a bright white light and the other is a more orange light. it is dimmable down to a dull glow for use as a night light and then gets quite bright as well. It has fingertip sensors that are light up with blue and green and look like a finger print, and the on/off light on the front that when on glows a soft red. It is dark out right now and the only light I am using is this light so I can see my keyboard. I use it to do homework by at night as well and its an attractive night light to set next to the bed. It does not get as bright as my other light but that is ok. this one functions every bit as good. The bottom has a nifty retractable handle that you ca use to carry the light or hang from a location. The color, well.... it needs some work. its a bright orange or the other option in purple. I would really like if they would offer the light i either white or black, or since they are advertising as a nursery light, in some pastels that would better match baby rooms. We live off grid so lighting is important to have dependable, move-able and long lasting light. What I love about these little lights is they are rechargeable with a USB. This is very handy for me as we have a 12 volt battery system in my home so I can plug it into a cigarette lighter and charge it right up. a blue light comes on when the lamp is fully charged. I usually charge them during the day time and they are ready for night, but they last about 5 nights on low setting. I am very happy with these and highly recommend to anyone who needs extra lighting. They would be great to have as an emergency kit as well. Take on the road camping or just out side at night. Let me tell you how much I love this light! It’s perfect in so many ways. I currently am using this light as a nightlight for my 1.5yo little and I can’t rave enough about how great it is. We just moved, you see, so he’s not familiar with his new room yet and he is in need of some light. The way I’ve been able to work it is to leave it on a little brighter and on the white light setting for when he lays down, then I sneak in and turn it to yellow light and very low glow so it doesn’t shock his little eyes at night if he wakes, and it’s just enough for if I have to go into the bedroom. The size is nice, and its very lightweight. The color shift from white to yellow is excellent for the purposes that I stated above, and it lasts for about 3 nights without needing charging. It’s convenient that it uses a USB charger since let’s face it, everything does these days. It’s a cute light and I plan on keeping it past the night light era so that we have a light bright enough to light the living room if the power goes. Great product for sure! For being so small, the light that it gives off is great. Not only are you able to adjust the brightness of the light, you are also able to make the light warmer or colder depending on the situation. There is a small handle at the bottom of the light that makes hanging or holding very easy.My favorite thing about this lamp is that it is cordless. I have enough cords from all the chargers by my bed side table so to not add another one is great. All you have to do is charge it and so far, I have only charged it once. The battery holds well.The only thing I wish I did was order the other color.I received this product at a discount for my honest and unbiased review.
