ELSRA Full Size Classic USB Wired Retro Membrane Keyboard with Numeric Keypad, Grey/Light Grey, UK QWERTY

I probably still have a keyboard or two from the 80s and 90s, but they do go a funny colour. This is basically a new copy of them. As such it has a certain nostalgic charm, but I think keyboards have got better since then. This is solid, but doesn't stand out for build quality. Not really great for gaming, o don't think it justified it's price.

Our first computer at home was an IBM Aptiva. It didn't have exactly the same keyboard as this one, but it was very similar, at least visually. I immediately felt nostalgic when I saw the keyboard. The understated grey palette, the generous array of function buttons, and the full numpad all brought it back.The keyboard has membrane switches as well - it's been a while since I used them and, personally, I prefer mechanical these days. However, if you liked the feel, then you'll like using this keyboard. My main irritation with the layout is that the fn key is placed under the right shift key and I have a tendency to hit it by accident. I'd much prefer it to be by the windows key in the bottom left, as is standard.If you can live with that and want a very authentic looking and feeling 90s style keyboard, this is a good choice.
