Great Product for the price, if you have mounting hardware laying around already
Like the one-star reviews said, it doesn't have any mounting hardware or instructions. This is a HORRIBLE reason to leave a one start review... It's meant to be general use, so any mounting hardware would likely be useless for many setups. I'd much rather not pay for something I'm not going to use. And the lack of hardware is likely one of the main reasons this product is so much cheaper than the alternatives. Same deal with the short USB cable - you can always extend a cable, but you can't shorten it. In my case, the short cable worked perfectly, and even if it didn't, I've got extra cables lying around. As a budget option, shorter cable = lower price. The next cheapest options are all in the range of like 75-100 dollars... I'd much rather use a spare piece of wood and some drywall screws that I had lying around than spend the extra 15-40 bucks. For someone who isn't looking to go pro and just wants a budget setup for some casual fun, this is the perfect option. The build quality is pretty great too, given only a couple hours of use. It is high quality steel construction held together by nuts and bolts. The spring on the break itself gives really good feedback and feels responsive and durable. Lastly, the device is plug-and-play, so I'm not even sure what you'd expect from instructions if they were included. Bolt it down, plug it in, and go. It's that simple. All around great BUDGET item. They cut costs in all the right places, while retaining what counts - usability and build quality.

Works when you figure it out.
In my experience with this, it was semi-plug and play. I mainly play Forza and Dirt. When I first plugged it in I was trying to get it to work on Forza. I set the button mapping to my handbrake and was constantly recognizing an input. It would not work properly (Brake was always engaged). I opened up my device manager and looked up the inputs for this device. X and Y axis inputs were at zero. Z axis was at 50% continuously. The Handbrake was set to register as a Rudder axis. I think what was happening was that it was recognizing the Z axis at first as my input. Somehow when I went to map it again in game, I managed to "trick" Forza into recognizing the Rudder axis as the actual input by letting it set the Z axis at first, then re-doing the input mapping by pulling the lever to over write the existing input. I set it to 3 stars due to this. If there is a way to facilitate this, and the seller reaches out, I will gladly give it 5 of 5 stars.

Works for the Price
So far so good. Product is a relatively inexpensive addition to the racing sim rig. Was able to mount to my rig using two M8 bolts and T-Nuts. Unfortunately, for the 2 mounting holes I used, I had to drill them out to fit the M8 bolt, which I knew going into it. I wish that the manufacturer would cut their mounting holes just a hair bigger, but since it was clearly stated in the listing, that is not something I can hold against them. Other than that, the product is as advertised - plug and play. As an aside, the rear plate can be removed if you need to mount in an awkward position, which I was able to take advantage of when mounting it to my rig. Only other thing of note is that you’ll want to tighten the handle mounting bolts before using the product as mine came a bit loose out of the box. Other than that, so far so good.

Surprisingly good!
Going into this, I did my research to make sure I didn't end up with a junk e-brake that would become ewaste in my closet. Pleasantly surprised to say that's not the case! It worked for me so far in Assetto Corsa, Project Cars 2, BeamNGDrive, Rally 2.0, ForzaHorizon5, and CarXDrift. Honestly have no doubts it will work with anything you throw at it! I've been using it to drift and have been abusing it for months now with no issues other than some of the screws becoming loose with time, nothing tightening them won't fix though! It CAN be adjusted by the way to fix any deadzone issues using the bolt on the very "back" of the brake, closest to you once it's installed on a sim. Tightening that screw eliminates deadzone and has felt good for me ever since! Only issue I found was sometimes the wheel or the brake would lose connection on some games when plugged into the same USB hub but is a rare occurrence. Still the only thing bumping down the rating to 4 stars, I'd recommend it.👍

Great for the price, doesn’t include hardware though.
So far, I love this thing and am glad I didn’t spend more on one. I grinded down my shifter mount on my seat stand and welded a bracket/plate to mount it to smoothly. Not needed but you will need hardware. Pros: - Great quality, machined handle with slots to adjust the length - Run on an Arduino board, has a linear sensor like most sim pedals so it’s not just an on/off switch. - Auto detected on Windows ready to plug and play Cons: Does not include hardware, had to go buy bolts.
