A definite BUY.
I bought these tiles to spruce up my cat's areas of my office as he was doing a bit of damage to my carpets and seemed like he wanted somewhere to lay that wasn't plush. The tiles are extremely soft foam and do temporarily dent any time something hard is placed on it. I'm talking so soft that the tread of my slippers left small dents, but they self-healed in a few seconds once I was off. i anticipate cat claws damaging the tiles over time but since I purchased these FOR the cat, it's nothing to cry about. The tiles are huge and so easy to cut (if needed) and place together seamlessly. The design is beautiful and from even a few steps away the seams disappear and the tiles are gorgeous. They really brighten up the space. I feel like you really get what you pay for with this product. They're exactly what I was looking for and I'll very likely buy again in the future. I definitely recommend these and they are cat approved.

Functional and a cool aesthetic
It looks and feels so much better than I expected. I went with the thinner version to save $ and it is great, this will be our gym floor but for now it has passed the blind dog comfort test. I love that they’re 2 square feet instead of 1, made it so much faster to put together.

They're nice, but could be improved
I bought the set of 36 tiles. If you care about matching patterns, here's what I figured out after playing with them for a *long* time:With the box contents, I can assemble 9 squares of 4 tiles (plus 8 trim pieces). The pattern matches perfectly within these squares. I did not try to match the pattern between the squares. I even rotated half of them to create a checkerboard effect. I had to glue them to keep them in place. It's too bad that the pattern is not devised to be a repeating one... You can't just get rid of the trim pieces, assemble all the big pieces together AND keep the pattern perfect everywhere. But if you proceed like me, you will be able to cover a bigger area because you use all the trim pieces. The side of the squares is 48 3/4 inches, with slightly rounded corners (also unfortunate, a real square would tile better).

The CORK (lack of) pattern is great - invisible connections (except where floor is uneven)
I bought two packages of the cork-patterned foam, and custom cut it for our utility room, where we added a few IKEA cabinets to make a guest kitchen of sorts. I'm super impressed at how straightforward it was to arrange and cut the tiles - and make nearly invisible repairs of small areas when I mis-measured. I had these in the garage for about a year before using them and they've been on the floor for about a week. They look great, with no smell. (Even in the garage the smell was minimal.)

Doesn't hold up over time
We really loved these tiles when we first got them. They look great and are very cushy under your feet. They were perfect for a play room, which is where we put them. We spent about $350 to do the entire play room, which we originally thought was a great price.Well, after about a month of having them down my mom walked on the floor with her high heels on and it left little divets in the floor. One star of because these would be destroyed if you used them in a trade show or anywhere that people are going to be wearing high heels. We told my mom to take off her shoes before going in the room, but she forgets a lot so now there are divets everywhere. After about 6 months we noticed the first edge peeling up. I thought it was an isolated incident so I glued it back down. Not long after that I noticed more edges coming up. It still want horrible so I glued those down as well. I've stopped gluing them down now because almost every edge is coming up and it's futile at this point. After about 9 months of the floor being down I noticed an area bubbling up. I thought someone might have spilled water there, but it appears to have spread and it is now happening in other areas as well. There's really nothing you can do to fix that problem. Some people have said there are no marks from their dogs nails, but I definitely see little marks from our dogs. It's not as big of an issue as the peeling parts so it's easier to ignore. But it is there. When we first got this floor we recommended it to everyone. It looked great, felt great and was perfect for play rooms. Now I would not recommend it to anyone. After not even a year it looked horrible. Now it's pretty much ruined. It's not worth the money for a floor that won't even last you a year. We'll have to replace the entire floor when we can save up enough money.I'm so disappointed. A big waste of time and money.

Looks and feel wonderful
I am using this floor in my zoom yoga studio in the basement. It is on the cement but I don't feel cold coming up from the floor and it is comfortable to lie on but not so cushiony that it messes up my balance. Have also done a dance class on it in bare feet. Usually I feel like I need to wear shoes for dancing but the floor was so cushiony my feet felt fine. I sometimes have a chair on the yoga mat but otherwise am trying to keep furniture off it to avoid indentations and after about a month it is working out well! And looks beautiful!

Fades Horribly
The media could not be loaded. I love the initial look and feel of this but it has faded so quickly (2 weeks) in the light. Even in the areas where there is not direct sunlight it is beginning to fade after 2 months. Such a bummer as I spent a LOT of money on this flooring for my playcafe.
