Yes this fixes the ROG power issue, yes it works in the UK
I ordered this from the USA the same day as something from the UK where I am based. Yes you guessed it this arrived earlier. Great product what the stock ROG adapter should have been. (It fixes the power always on issue) Also this already has the UK plug fitted saving me the job. Thanks again!

Failed in under two years
The main issue is that it failed in under two years. Trying to work with seller for either a repair, replacement, or refund. Will update with more info once I’ve gotten a response.

This made some alarming sparks and crackling noises when I plugged it in and powered it on - no way am I trusting the unit I received to power a £600 monitor. I'm attempting to sort out a return / replacement with the seller and will try my luck with a new one.

Been having this for quite some time now and it just works no problem.This should have been the default power brick for PG278Q.It is a bit short though.
