When I first received this in the mail, I was a little surprised because they were much bigger than I expected (my own fault for not checking the measurements - It says in the product description). I thought they would be way too big and I’d have to order a different kind. But I decided to try them and they work great!I have straight, very thick hair that is usually about shoulder length, but has been grown out a couple inches longer than that for a while. I would prefer to fully dry it with the hair dryer, but it is so thick that it would take 20-30 minutes or more of straight drying to do that. I’m too lazy and impatient for that lol. When I wash my hair, I will wring it a little before putting it up in a towel for a little while (usually until the towel is too wet to be comfy). Then I comb it out and put in a small amount of spray gel, and then use one of these scrunchies to make a low ponytail/messy bun - depending on how long my hair is, I can usually wrap it around 2-3 times to get a tight hold. I like to leave it like this for a while - sometimes I’ll take it out and redo it once or twice, or sometimes switch to another dry scrunchie to absorb more water. This is usually enough to get my hair dry enough to where I can finish with the hair dryer in ~5 mins or less, or finish air drying without being overly wet/cold/uncomfortable.I’ve also used all of these simultaneously on sections of damp hair overnight to get some slight wave in my hair. My hair is so unbelievably straight it won’t hold any curl or wave unless it dries that way, and it’s a nice way to get a little texture that lasts for a little while lol. If you have “normal” hair that can hold a curl or wave though, this would probably work great for you lol. It would probably work better with 2 or more sets depending on your hair.I have occasionally used them with pretty wet hair too and they work well. I bet they’d be really nice to use post-swimming.I’d say definitely check the measurements, but they’ve been great for me even though the size was not what I initially thought I wanted. These will hold a lot of hair!

These work great! Comfy to sleep in and hair almost dry in morning. And it curls your hair while you sleep!

Dare I say I like these better than the Kitsche ones that cost way more! Absorb water and dry fast.

The fabric is as described and works great to absorb water from hair. They are just unusually large, the size is somewhere between a normal large scrunchie and a headband. It has to be wrapped 3 times around a ponytail, and the third wrap is tight. It works okay for long, thick hair, but mine is shoulder length and fine.

I really like these scrunchies, and they do exactly what I need them to do.1. Dries my hair so it's still wet/damp but not dripping.2. Doesn't twist the front of my hair like a hair turban and make it dry flat.3. Feels comfortable and tight enough but not too tight.4. Stays put and doesn't fall out.It feels "freeing" not to have my hair wrapped up after a shower, which is really nice. The colors aren't as bright as the picture on Amazon, but they are still pretty. (I ordered the classic colors.)

I didn’t have high expectations for these because I have a LOT of thick, shoulder length hair, and honestly I was just looking for scrunchies to use to hold my hair after a shower. But these actually do dry my hair significantly more than I expected. My hair isn’t bone dry or anything but it does save me a few extra minutes under a dryer. I’m also impressed that they actually hold all of my hair. I use them in a half bun (ponytail for the first twist, pulled halfway through on the second twist) to get maximum contact with my hair, and they’re just as wet as my hair towel when I take them out. I would definitely recommend these to other people!

These scrunchies are huge! My not be a problem for most, as they are supposed to help with drying, but I have to wrap them up so many times to keep them on that my head ends up hurting.
