CHEAP
DO NOT BUY This item is garbage. Cheap materials. One pull up done and the bar is already bent. Don’t waste your money on this

Terrible. Bar bent in two after few exercises.
The bar is not fit for purpose at all. Made of cheap metals so the bar bends in the middle after a few uses. The bar is about to snap, that’s how much it’s bent and I only bought it 5 days ago.

I’ve had this ProsourceFit pull-up bar since 2019 and it’s held up really well over the years (it is now 2026). It fits securely on a standard door frame and feels sturdy when in use. Assembly was quick and straightforward, and once it’s set up, it doesn’t feel flimsy or unstable. I weigh around 170 lbs and haven’t had any issues with it supporting my weight. Pull-ups, chin-ups, and hanging exercises all feel solid, which is what matters most. That said, there are a couple things to be aware of. Over time, it can leave marks on the wall and rub down the paint on the door frame where it sits. I’d strongly recommend putting some cardboard, felt pads, or another type of protection between the bar and the frame if you care about keeping things pristine. Overall, it’s a sturdy, easy-to-use pull-up bar that’s lasted me years with no mechanical issues. Just be prepared to protect your door frame and walls, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

I am a big fan of these pull up bars, put them in a doorway you regularly walk through and just hang it feels so good on your back, great for pull ups too ;) I am not comfortable with the big bulky bars that hang off a doorframe as I get nervous they will slip off, these are safe and secure and take up very little space.

This pull up bar has been extremely reliable for me over the last 4 months or so. It is bigger than most door way bars, so if you have wide doorways like I do, then it will still fit just fine. Make sure to double check the maximum widths before you purchase. I did find it a bit of a hassle to put together initially, but once I watched a YouTube tutorial briefly, everything went together fairly well. I found the instructions a bit hard to decipher. The tolerances on the pieces connecting are loose, so nothing will be exactly in line and you can push everything into place easily. The tools provided were a bit cheap, but functioned for what they needed to, which is to screw in the bolts and tighten it all together. Once it is built, the bar can easily be hooked onto the doorway, and taken off in a few seconds so the door can close fully. The bar itself is very high quality, the metal is strong and heavy, and the foam grips seem like they would take a while to wear down. I never once felt insecure when using the bar, although I would not want to swing on it. It works well for pull ups, chin ups, neutral pull ups. Since the bar is so long there are a variety of hand positions you can use. So wide or close grip pull ups are possible. It works for push ups on the ground if you need it to, and again felt very sturdy under my weight. According to the manual, the max weight supported is 130kg, although at 90KG once of my friends was causing it to creak quite a bit. So if you weigh more than 100KG I would be extremely careful. The bar does leave black marks on the wall above the doorway, and also on the sides wherever it touches the frame. They seem to clean off, but if you use it for a long period of time, it may be worth putting something thin in-between the doorway and black foam/rubber parts of the bar. I wouldn't advise to use this in rental properties or weak/old door frames, and if you are, be very careful. The bar can be dismantled, so if you want to use it for travel between places, it is possible. However there are probably smaller or cheaper ones that would be better to use for this purpose. Overall the bar is very secure and safe, and provides a lot of use for workouts. For £35 it was well worth it.
