I don't often give 5 stars, but this mask far exceeded my expectations in what I was looking for in a heated mask:1. Stays hot: I researched microwave eye masks for awhile and when you read the reviews or Q&A for many of them, even if people loved the mask, they all said it doesn't stay warm for more than 3-5 mins. This one stays heated for around 15 mins, which is exactly what my ophthalmologist says I need to get rid of these annoying eye styes -- and it's really working! I put it in the microwave for 42 seconds. It's too hot to put directly on my eye right away, so I put a couple a tissue between my eyes and the mas for about 8-10 mins, then as it starts to cool, I remove the tissue and it stays warm right up to 15 minutes. It's still warm even when the 15 mins are up.2. Price: Omg, so many that only last up to 5 mins are so ridiculously overpriced. This one is really phenomenally priced and I feel the value is so much higher than what I spent.3. Fragrance-Free: There are some in the market that have overpowering scents of lavender or other fragrances. I think that would irritate me (and my eyes) to no end! This product has no scent at all, which is perfect.4. Comfort: SO comfortable! And I absolutely LOVE the blue one I got -- looks great, even though no one will see me using it.I haven't used it cold, so can't comment on using it in that way, but will once my eye issues clear up. And my only really insignificant gripe might be the elastic bands are a bit cheapish and kind of small for my head, but they hold well and do what they're supposed to.Btw, I am in no way affiliated with this company that sells this product, but when I feel a product deserves it, I have to shout out.Believe me, if you're on the fence you won't be disappointed with this eye mask.

Loooove this silky, comfy, cold but not too cold, just enough pressure to comfort and keep out the light, amazing eye mask.I'm a huge eye mask snob since I often have hypersensitivity to light due to migraines. This makes me feel like my headache is melting away & I'm on my way to a great day at the spa.Seriously, this is the best, most comfortable, well made cooling eye mask I've ever used. Recommend to anyone who gets migraines, hangovers, optical hypersensitivity to light, puffy eyes, or even who just likes to kick back & rest your eyes after a long day. It's addicting!PS: I would not recommend this as a sleeping mask. It's filled with cooling gel beads & is meant to be kept in the fridge or freezer (it won't freeze, it just gets colder like vodka would). If you're looking for just a plain old eye mask for sleeping I would recommend the Dollar Tree, they have actually really great ones for a buck, I've spent literally twenty or 30 times that and not found a better basic sleeping mask.Also, this would be great for travel, even if you can't keep it cold on a plane or vehicle, the extra weight of the beads & the high quality of the material will keep out annoying light much better than any of the plush ones out there. Plus you can put it in the minifridge wherever you're staying and be able to use it to reduce puffy eyes throughout the trip!I'm getting these as gifts for all the women in my family!Enjoy!

Like a lot of others, I bought this eye mask to cool my eyes when I have migraines. It's not a bad mask, but there are a lot of things you should consider before you buy it. First, if you leave it in the freezer, the beads freeze and you cannot comfortably strap the mask to your face. It takes around 10-15 minutes for the frozen beads to thaw, but it would still be too cold to keep against your eyes, so you'd have to remove it several times. Once it's reached a comfortable temperature to keep against your eyes, it only stays cold for about 15 minutes. I am speaking only about the side that is lined and meant to be placed against your eyes and not of the side showing the beads. I find it a bit heavy and have to adjust it often when using it because it squishes my nose and puts pressure on my eyes. However, at the price point, it is a decent eye mask and is better than nothing when you want to cool your eyes.

My optometrist recommended heat compressions for my dry eyes. This works quite well. 40 seconds in the microwave, and wear it for 7 minutes. It stays nice and warm for the 7 minutes and probably would last a couple minutes longer if you needed it to. So far it is helping my eyes.Only 2 cons: It feels a little bit cheaply made and probably won't last for years but then again the price is good so it is worth it. Also it puts a little bit of weight oddly on my nose. It's not uncomfortable but would be better if the nose section would be cut out a little bigger. No big deal and I would recommend to a friend.

Not the best product, but definitely does it’s job and I consider this worth it.I’ve been working a lot lately, about 20hrs a day for 4 days and a one 12hrs day. Total of 5 days... A lot of hrs..There are days that looks as if I had attended a fighting match and got my a... whooped...My eye lids feel heavy...purple bags underneath my eyes, or swollen purpler eyes..At that point is Plain simple... I’m sleepy...I put this product on a ziplock bag which goes inside the freezer and into my lunch bag which retains the cold and use during small breaks.It’s a bit uncomfortable, but when you are tired, this product will make You feel amazing and you will forget about its flaws and be grateful about it.Does it work? Yes it does, that little bit of rest that I get while using this product, it’s keeping me going.. I bought a much more expensive one, which does the same but doesn’t cool-down my eyes as much.When you’re tired, your face is burning and your eyes feel hot. This product is a solution for those situations, it’s not very comfortable And it has flaws but it will do it’s job.If you work long hours like me.. this is something you want to keep handy..
