Craft Lite Cutter

The craft lite cutter is great. It does take some practice with some of the blades as it will not cut through the card stock if you don't press just right on certain blade. This is a great addition to any cropper/stamper's tools. I would also say that the As seen on TV service was great. I ordered it on Sat and had it Mon afternoon. I make and sell stickers and this unit works great for being able to see what you are cutting precisely. The only problem I have encountered is that on the vinyl decal sticker paper which is a little heavy compared to say 20 lb. paper it won't cut through in one pass all the time. You must put some heavy pressure on it and then still needs two passes AT TIMES. other THAN THAT IT WORKS WELL. if IT BREAKS i WOULD PURCHASE ANOTHER IN A FLASH.

Being a lefty is a gift, being able to cut a straight line is a challenge. I absolutely love the craft lite cutter. The fact that I can have a light under my projects to ensure I'm cutting here I want is priceless. I love the different cutting blades as well. The craft lite cutter is like other paper cutters. I would benefit from some sort of platform that holds the paper, the swing ruler doesn't cut it for me but I just placed a block of wood under and it works well. I can not cut straight lines and even make them look fancy.

This is a great paper trimmer. I am an avid paper artist and use trimmers daily. However, do not feel compelled to go out and purchase this item believing it is better than your Friskars trimmer that has interchangeable blades. This trimmer works great! The light helps you guide where you need to make your cut. The best part is the interchangeable blade options, such as scoring to make a card fold; however, other trimmers offer this option. But, if you must try, I have had no problems, it works just fine and is compact and convenient to transport. A couple of drawbacks before you buy: (1) there are no replacement blades (so what will you do when you blade gets dull); and (2) there is no storage container for the blades (you must create this yourself at the Container Store). anewdesignonline.com

My wife is scrap booker and it has been one of the greatest tools she says she has had for what she does and it is light and doesnt take up lots of space. Fits neatly in her carry case .Best buy for a husband or man to give his wife or girlfriend , if they are into scrapbooking. They go to a three day trip and have a large scrapbooking group of women that all want to get one of these cutters and most have by now Thanks for a great Product

I like the Craft-Lite Cutter. It's great for trimming pictures. My only peeve about the product is that I wasn't able to buy a replacement "Straight" cutter blade when the original "Straight" cutter blade wore out. So I liked the product so much, I purchased a brand new Craft-Lite Cutter set because I couldn't purchase just a "Straight" cutter blade. So beware you can't get a replacement "Straight" cutter blade when the original "Straight" cutter blade wears out. And most likely you will use the "Straight" cutter blade most of the time.

I hated this item. No matter how many times I put paper in to cut. It would not cut it square. It was always off on its cuts. I have never had a cutter before that didn't cut square and precise. I even had amazon send me another one to replace this one. To see if there was something faulty with this one but it didn't cut straight. either. So I gave them both away. Terrible product. I am sorry I had to give this a bad review but it would be okay for a kid to use for crafts. But if you are an artist or serious crafter and want a paper cutter with precise cuts. Don't buy this cutter.

Well, I don't find the light to be all that helpful. Maybe it is my bifocals but I am not sure what part of the light it is telling you to cut on I do much better with the light off. I do like the assortment of cutters. I am not sure I would pay that money for it again but I am not unhappy with my purchase.
