Great
Used for Penske truck cross country move. This did the job just great. Had no issues, easy to close and open with key. VERY hefty for my needs and affordable with great quality.

Worked great on POD containers
We bought these specifically with POD containers in mind. The packaging is a little overkill but once you get the locks out you're good to go. It was very nice having one set of keys that worked for both locks. One key unlocked both Pods which made things easier on us during the moving process. They felt very secure and sturdy. They take a little effort to turn sometimes but mostly open/close with no issue. Ours had a small sharp area on an edge that appeared to be from grinding during manufacturing process. I'm assuming they were trying to smooth out rough areas but it turned this one edge on ours into a cut hazard. It was easily avoidable if you just held it by the rubber. We also tried this exact lock on a 10 ft Uhaul truck and it DID NOT work.

Master quality, Perfect for self storage
Purchased for self storage unit I like the key retention as there’s no doubt that it’s not locked properly, also the weather strip that covers the key slot keeps snow and ice out

Keyed alike and works great
Great locks, just wish it came with 4 keys instead of 2. At least with these locks, you can get keys made for them.

nice features, but it’s still a disc lock
This 2-pack of locks features 2 “keyed-alike” disc locks with boron carbide shackles- supposedly harder than hardened steel. key hole features a sliding cover to keep dust and particles out of the tumbler. seems tough, but it still has disc lock problems like a feeling of separation between shackle and housing causing an occasional alignment problem when locking into the far-side shackle receiver. seems good enough for my indoor storage facility though.

Ich habe zwar schon gelesen dass masterlock schlechte Schlißzylinder verbaut, aber dass ich als Laie mit dem billigsten Dietrich Set von Amazon das Schloss geöffnet habe schreckt mich doch etwas ab. Ein schön breites Schlüsselloch mit nicht all zu vielen Windungen dass man fast auf jeden Stift schauen kann den man bearbeitet. Muss man aber auch nicht schauen, da ist alles so grobschlichtig und Wackelig dass man einfach mit etwas wild herumdrücken auch ans Ziel kommt. Bei Abus geht das nicht so einfach. Lektion gelernt, Schloss geht zurück.
