Does it work on glass bottles?

Based on my memory of the old glass bottles, this pump should work fine. The seal will work on any bottle as long as it fits over the neck/opening and since it operates on positive pressure the rigidity of the glass wouldn't be a factor.

Does this fit on Primo-branded bottles?

Yes I am using it on primo 5 gallon jugs. It will work on the 3 gal also. I have 2 now. One for work and one at home.

does it screw on or what? what if the bottle doesn't have threads?

It doesn't screw to the bottle. The threads are on the pump and are used to tighten the seal around the mouth of the bottle. It basically clamps onto the bottle.
