Great Purchase!
This is an excellent stair stepper. It's compact and easy to move. The machine works with foot pedals on top of pneumatic pistons instead of a wire, like others I've had; and the wires tend to snap as they are not really strong. This is much more well-built and substantial. The only downside is that you can't adjust the resistance, but the default resistance on this is pretty tight, so you get a good solid workout without it being too hard to move the pedals. So overall a good piece of equipment. Now a word about Sportsroyals, the company who sells this. Their Customer Service is EXCELLENT!! Here's what happened. I ordered the stair stepper and long story short, Fedex lost the package. I contacted both Fedex and Sportsroyals, and they sent me a new one within less than a week!! The folks at Sportsroyals were respectful, polite, and responded very quickly to my request. So I totally recommend buying from this company, as well as the stair stepper itself. This is a NON-INCENTIVEZED review.

A lifesaver. Literally.
This little machine has finally motivated me off my ass and into exercise! Short version: Buy it and don't give up! You won't regret it. It's sturdy and does the job. Long version: I am a 54 year old fat, sedentary gamer with a congenital heart defect. My blood sugar and blood pressure were so high at my last doctor's visit, that I had to make some drastic changes. Along with a better diet (no salt or sugar, much less potatoes and bread), I knew I would have to start exercising. I bought this stair stepper mostly because it seemed sturdy, was rated for more than my weight, and was in my price range. The first week or so, it felt impossible. Like others have said, the tension is set high, and there is no way to adjust it. Don't panic! It gets better. At first, I could only do two minutes at a time, then five mins. Now, one month later, I just finished a 35 minute session! The tension loosened up a bit, and I got better, too. Here is what helped me. I parked it next to our TV and put together a Youtube exercise playlist. I chose songs with good rhythms and fun videos to keep me motivated (tip: Paula Abdul's "Straight up" is still excellent!). It is MUCH easier to step to dance music than to plod through while watching a movie. For better cardio, you'll want to take shorter steps. Again, this is where the music comes in handy to keep you on rhythm. Shorter steps have lighter tension, too. Since I've been able to do longer workouts, I've noticed my weight coming off easier. I've been losing about a pound every 3-4 days. The best part is that I was able to lower my blood pressure from 170/95 to 138/88. It's not perfect, but it's a drastic improvement, and I didn't have to go on meds. The machine gets about an hour of use each day, and so far it works beautifully and hasn't developed any loud noises. If you are looking for a reliable exercise machine that won't take up much space and doesn't cost a ton of money, this one is an excellent choice!

Solid little stepper
Overall I'm pleased with how long this machine lasted. It was a fairly decent investment to get my body moving. I bought this in March 2024 so that I could exercise in my small apartment. It doesn’t take up much space. It is nice and heavy which I prefer for something that is holding my body weight. It also has rubber on the feet to prevent movement. I always felt safe using it. The stepper lasted 111 hours before breaking at the metal seam in the middle in 2026. I'm between 230-260lbs depending on the day so I'm not a tiny woman. At the time it cost $139.99. The display pops out so you can replace the battery(1 AA). Occasionally I'd yank it out by accident but it was easy to fix.

it’s solid and feels like good quality
Not at all bad for the money. It’s heavy enough surprisingly good quality. I literally use the resistance bands to work back arms and triceps as well I was very skeptical because I used to work out in the gym all the time and didn’t think I’d be able to find something inexpensive and small but this works really nicely. It’s quiet it will get you a nice burn in your legs and gluts. I have it in my living room in front of the TV burning calories while I’m watching Stranger Things. I recommend getting this. It’s inexpensive but solid and a good quality, it’s small and super easy to tuck away in a closet or under the bed. I have been on mine like three times today. It’s actually kind of fun

Surprisingly sturdy and well made
Not bad! Good for someone just staring to work out OR if you work in an office with sit to stand desks. You can get a small workout done while you’re at work! It is kinda heavy - (not too bad) maybe I’m just a wimp but taking it to different offices can be a little “Ugg” if you have no muscles like me! Keeping it in one spot under your desk is best.

Decent, Might Keep
Has its pros and cons. Pros: No assembly required other than attaching the monitor to the unit. Very easy. No power cords needed; the unit is standalone I break a nice little sweat even using it for 5 minutes Decent price for what it is Cons: There is no way to adjust the resistance. It just is what it is. There’s one setting out of the box. The foot pedals move inward, which I didn’t expect and am finding I don’t like. When I use real stairs or a stair master, I don’t position my feet inward. I walk straight up. So trying to get used to the inward motion is very strange and I spend more time thinking about that than simply working out. So I’m on the fence. Part of me loves the ease of use and the fact that no electricity is required. I like that I feel it working and it lets me get a quick workout in between meetings. However, I don’t like that I can’t adjust the resistance and I don’t like the way the pedals move. If I could adjust the resistance and straighten the pedals it would be a perfect machine.

Easy assembly, not adjustable but delivered in perfect condition
The display is accurate. 20 minute assembly time ...I kept dropping the nuts. Handle is not adjustable. I am 5'5" and it is fine. The tension does not adjust but I am getting around that by not doing full strides until I get used to it. Just with bare feet and it was comfortable but using trainers to help with knee cushioning. I didn't choose the other brands because of complaints that pieces didn't fit right or a handle was left out etc. This item everything was well protected and shipped in perfect condition. Most of the screws are pre-installed so I didn't have to guess which screw for which hole (I'm challenged). Used it for about 60 seconds to test the display and worked up a slight sweat at 180lbs it doesn't take much. Feels sturdy and well made. Using it with my treadmill while walking to BitGym videos. My goal is 125lbs by the end of the year. They had me at 15 minutes equals 30 minutes of walking so we shall see. I'll try to remember to update 12/31 if my post meno brain allows me.

Great item but don’t over use it.
Great quality and works really good. Can’t over use it bc it’ll loosen the screws. I used mines for 4 days straight 20 minutes each day, the screw and petal popped off and I tried to repair it but it continued to come apart.

Buon prodotto
Soddisfatto dello stepper!
