Updated review
Very hard and crumbly as if it were already partially cured or very old. Update: After returning the bad clay (no hassle), I received a new one in a few days that was in perfect condition. :)

Perfect
Translucent sculpey premo is by far my most used clay, and I mix it into other clays to avoid bold colors staining on my hands. Clay arrived swiftly with the correct consistency; slightly firm before conditioning, and easily malleable the more conditioned it becomes.

Better than Fimo and Sculpey III
Premo is much stiffer than sculpey III and takes more time to condition but, the added plasticizers in Premo makes it a much better end product. It does not break nearly as easily as Sculpey III. It is very strong. The white Premo is also much brighter and whiter compared to Sculpy III white clay. This is also easier to use than Fimo. It doesn't burn as easy. A quick tip when baking in a toaster oven is to bake on a ceramic tile which you line with parchment to prevent a shiny bottom to the clay. This helps prevent the clay from burning. Also tent your project with foil or a pan turned upside down. This will also prevent scorching.

Ugly and Not Transparent
This stuff is gross. It was supposed to be transparent but instead it looks like it sat in a room full of chainsmokers for several days. I would know, I used to be one. It looks like it should smell. I bought it to make tunnels for my dwarf shrimp and a barrier for a nano sponge filter. I wanted to See the shrimp using the tunnels and tubes. I wanted the barrier to be inconspicuous. Huge disappointment. It's incredibly difficult to work with. I had to spend about an hour kneading it to warm it up so I could attempt to use it and even then it was so hard I couldn't manipulate it the way I'd hoped/needed. I even tried putting it in a bag in warm water but then it got crumbly beyond hope or repair. I actually googled the definition of 'transparent' to make sure I wasn't out of my mind. Was i comfusing opaque and transparent? I was not. Transparent means you can see through it, even if the image is distorted or blurry or just shapes. This isn't even close to transparent. If someone sold me 'transparent' eye glasses made out of this I'd be smashing into walls. I tried making it thinner but not only was it still not transparent, it wouldn't hold a shape even when it was much thicker than I wanted. I'm able to sort of use it the way I wanted for the nano filter barrier, though still not quite the way I had planned. Overall I would rate this a big zero.

The Best!
I would not use any other brand. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong color. Re-ordered what I needed.
