May be too greasy/oily for some... very hydrating.
I purchased the 3CayG Bacuri Butter and received it on Saturday, August 30, 2025. Here’s my honest, detailed review after using it for a few weeks. I hope this helps anyone considering this body butter, especially those who care about accessibility or have sensitive skin.**Packaging & Shipping**The Bacuri butter arrived safely, with sturdy packaging that protected the product during shipping. The jar was easy enough to open, but not so tight that it required lots of effort, which I appreciated. Nothing leaked, spilled, or got damaged in transit.**Accessibility**As someone who values accessibility, especially with limited vision and dexterity, here’s what you should know:- The jar is small enough to hold in one hand, but you do need both hands to open it if you have less grip strength.- The lid takes a bit of effort to pull off, but it’s not impossible with one hand.- The butter itself is wrapped inside the jar rather than sealed in a Ziploc bag, which can be tricky. You might need scissors or help to open the wrapper, especially if you have mobility issues.**Product Presentation & Texture**- The butter comes in a disc shape, sort of squished to fit inside the jar.- It’s easy to hold and doesn’t feel awkward in your hand.- Be careful: the butter can fall out of the wrapper easily, so I recommend keeping some Ziploc bags on hand for storage.- When you unwrap it, you can break off or scoop out a small amount as needed.**Application & Performance**- The Bacuri butter feels rich, hydrating, and slightly grainy at first (like sand), but the grains melt into the skin pretty quickly.- It’s definitely more moisturizing than other butters I’ve tried, and left my skin feeling soft and smooth with no rough patches.- If you use skincare products like Prequel’s Multi Acid Milk Peel or Multi Quench Serum, you can layer this butter on top. Just be ready for an ultra-glowy, glazed-doughnut finish!- It does take longer to absorb than something like coffee butter, so if you’re in a rush, keep that in mind.- My only caution: this butter caused a bit of breakouts when I used it on my face, although I’m not sure if it was the butter or just my cycle about to start at the time. Now, I only use it on my body.**Getting Used To It**If you haven’t used Bacuri butter before, the texture and absorption time might take a little adjustment. But overall, it felt great once I got used to it.**Pros:**- Excellent shipping and packaging; product arrived in perfect condition.- The butter is deeply hydrating, leaving skin soft without needing any additional moisturizers.- Can be layered with other skincare products for an extra moisture boost.- No rough or dry patches after use.- Easy to store and use once unwrapped.**Cons:**- The jar and internal wrapper aren’t the easiest to open, especially for those with disabilities or arthritis.- The butter is a bit greasy and slow to absorb compared to lighter butters.- May cause breakouts for some, especially those with oily or acne-prone skin.- The grainy texture might be off-putting at first, but it does melt in.**Overall:**I’m giving this product four stars. While it’s a fantastic moisturizer and works well on my body, I’m not totally sure if it’s the right fit for facial use—at least for me. I do plan to keep using it on my body and may experiment with other brands for my face.**A few tips:**- If you have sensitive or acne-prone skin, patch test first or stick to using it on your body.- Keep some Ziploc bags handy for storage.- If you have accessibility needs, be aware that you may need help opening the packaging.I hope my review is helpful! I always aim to be as transparent as possible, especially as a visually impaired user. If you’re looking for deep hydration and don’t mind a little extra richness, this Bacuri butter is worth a try.

Amazing quality
Scent tells me this Bacuri was made with quality foremost in mind. It's supposed to have an earthy scent but not a decomposing one, slightly like Patchouli. It melts quick, adds nice glow and is my favorite moisturizer as it gets in skin and forms a slight barrier.

Smooth and dense!
Love the quality and smell of this butter. Using it in a all in one body, face and hair butter is great addition to to the other densely based butters I used to create my own butter cream: like Shea, coco butter and castor, for the winter to keep your skin smooth and moisturizedAs well as your hair full of shine. The color when added with other light colored butters of course is like a coffee almost caramel color, too beautiful.

Bacuri Butter
I had heard of this butter through one of my soaping sisters and I though I would give it a try. I have not used it as yet. She used it as a superset in soap she made and raved how it made the soap feel after curing. I just received mine and am anxious to use it. I only rate it as such until I use it myself. I looked at some of the reviews for this product and everyone else seems to be elated over it. Stay tuned.
