Fabulous meal!
Fantastic. I spend every summer in a remote mntn location. Going to a store, cooking, cleanup is an all day affair and huge ordeal. These MH meals are a life saver. Easy, delish. I don’t find them too salty. This 2 servings. You need to supplement with nuts, bars, cheese etc as you’ll want more food if you’re starving. If you’re feeling like fettuccine Alfredo with chicken you’ll be satisfied. I buy these whenever I can. Great to have around for camping, dorms, late night etc. great value to me!

These are awesome
This tastes so good and was above my expectations I've been into the survival prepping kind of mindset lately and these meals are perfect for long term storage and the ease of use is amazing yes there are cheaper ones and I've tried them but they are nowhere near the quality of the peak brand and idk about you but if it's a survival situation or apocalypse type thing happening I wanna enjoy what I eat at least and I wanna nobits a good product these r great for camping hiking keeping in the car etc with the way of the world and how unpredictable things are these days it's nice to have a good option like this handy at all times definitely a thumbs up in my opinion and the fact that it's really good is a plus as well great quick meal with 34 grams of protein this feeds 2 people as well if you have to

Much more tasty than I expected it to be.
Was much more tasty than I expected it to be. Was very filling and the meat parts actually tasted and felt like meat. Made for a great day and night on the trail.

Super convenient and not too shabby!
I’ve been looking to try something like this for a long time and I’m glad I picked up Mountain houses Fettuccine chicken Alfredo. I’d say these are definitely worth checking out. If you’re curious about a more roughing it outdoor trip or have always been curious to try something more civilian compared to an MRE. Super simple to cook up. Just boil the water mix wait a few minutes Mix again and you’re good to go. Admittedly, I might have added too much water when I cooked mine, but this did not affect the flavor. I just didn’t bring with me the best measurement tools. However, I would put the fettuccine Alfredo at a pretty good taste certainly not restaurant quality but for out in the woods backpacking this is great! Definitely a good amount of portions Really fills you up. Some nice, good pieces of chicken and noodles and for my first time, having one of these, I’d say it’s pretty worth giving it a try. If you’re brave enough to try a freeze dried meal. I’d say great product for the value and the fettuccine chicken Alfredo was a good one to try if you’re looking at mountain house meals. Textures about what you’d expect for fettuccine Alfredo and I just be concerned about the right water mixture, but it didn’t offset the flavor at all. Pretty impressive for a little freeze dried pouch. Easy to get cooked up and great for a solo Backpacking trip would easily recommend. Just add bowling water and stir snd enjoy.

I was bummed when there was none left to eat—and that's high praise for me
Usually I make my own backpacking meals, and skip the big-name pouch meals, because I've found the taste of these pouch meals lacking and the price fairly outrageous. This is one magnificent exception.I genuinely loved this one, and it will now be a staple meal in my canister, whether I'm going for a couple nights or a week—I enjoyed it that much. So much that I was actually bummed when I was done, and wanted more. The chicken wasn't dry, and it all tasted so good.I really don't like the price for any of these backpacking meal pouches and continue to avoid them due to lousy cost-benefit (read: way too expensive for meh-taste and texture), but this one will be my grand splurge meal on each trip. The rest will continue to be my own cheaper and tastier DIY creations. And even though I'd usually take a star off for excessive pricing, I think this one deserves 5-stars regardless.UPDATE: Just returned from 6 nights out. Had a few of these, and when I ran out, I was genuinely bummed to turn to my DIY meals. If I'm going 6 nights or less, I'm just buying one of these for each night. Never got remotely old, and I found myself looking forward to it as a reward after each day's hiking was done.

Loved it
Let sit longer than 11 minutes. I found 17 minutes to be the sweet spot. Add salt and pepper and boom,! Delicious. Re-ordered a six pack.

One of our favorites
One of our favorites. Delicious. 820 calories, so it’s more food than many other Mountain House entrees.
