Wore my soles raw after 20 minutes of walking. NOT Skechers usual quality.
I love Skechers. I love Skechers Go-Walk. My last pair was SKECHERS Performance Women's Go Walk 2 - Super Sock 2 with the Goga mat inside. I LOVED these shoes. Without "breaking them in" I wore them ALL DAY at Disneyworld. ALL DAY! No blisters, no problems.I needed a pair of all black walking shoes, so I thought I'd go with another Skechers Go Walk 2 series. I didn't realize that there's a HUGE difference in the varieties, all with different names and numbers but all included in the Go Walk 2 series. It would make SENSE if there was consistancy between the shoes in the GO WALK 2 series, but no. THIS SHOE is a big difference. A flop, if you will.First, there is no support inside. You can FEEL the hard sole through the thin pad. There's no Goga mat, which I anticipated, but an "Ortholite footbed" and "Resalyte cushioned insole"?? No. Absolutely not. This padding is about as thick as a Dollar Store odor-eater.Secondly, the fabric lining on the inside is a rough polyester, which rubbed the skin on my soles RAW after about 20 minutes of walking through a store. My soles are summer-hardened. I walk on our aggregate patio barefoot with no problems. So imagine my shock when a FABRIC can cause what could be called "Indian burn" on my feet after a short walk! It hurt so bad that I could hardly walk for hours after taking them off. Overnight my skin healed up, thankfully, but shoes should NOT DO THAT.Thirdly, the toe box and sides are much too narrow to be called regular sizing. The outer fabric doesn't have ANY give to it, so there's no amount of stretching out that I can do to make them fit like my others did. Oh, and fabric is ugly to boot. It looks like macrame. It's not a good look for my 39-year-old self. I was going for a not-sneaker look, more like loafers, but they're just plain ugly and embarrassing to wear in public.I'm seriously torn about what to do. I've worn these out and about to try to get my feet used to them, but the pain they caused yesterday confirmed my fear: I can't get used to them because they are not well made. My feet need better. But I've paid $40 for these. I want my money back, because these are NOT up to Skechers usual quality. I consider them defective, and hope the company discontinues them.If you have sensitive feet, buy a different Skechers! Try the Super Sock 2!

Runs a bit large.
I really liked the weave of the fabric and the black soles. They will allow me to wear them in "smart casual" situations and I will use them as my "airport shoes" and tourist treks in Europe this summer. They run a bit larger than some other sketchers I have had before (I am somewhere between 9.5 and 10 size) so I added another memory foam insert layer to keep my feet from scooting down to the toe which lefta small gap at the heel causing my heel to come up. . It worked well that way. The roomy toe is truly a plus in any case and the size ten hit my arch just right after the insertions. The shoe then molded in a good fit.

Smaller than expected. One issue that a bigger size could correct, I hope!
Great looking shoes. Great arch support. One big problem. There is a thick riled band around the outer edge of the shoe. I hoped that they would stretch with wear, but no luck. They have caused a small blister on the inside arch of one foot and leave an indent around the entire top, front of my feet, when worn. They have left no rub or band mark around the heals, which is where you would expect shoes that are too small. The feet feel great in the shoes, with great support inside and solid soles. If anyone is ordering, I would definitely recommend 1 to 1 1/2 sizes bigger, to compensate for that top rim. Otherwise, great shoe.

Try These!
Wonderful! To say that I have problem feet is an understatement. Medical conditions have made wearing shoes very difficult and my husband has a standing joke of me ordering shoes and sending them right back. Not these. I put them on, took a few steps expecting the usual negative experience, but hooray they didn't hurt..anywhere! I wore them that afternoon to an appointment and had no pain from wearing them. So pleased!

Lighweight, cushioned and comfortable!
Once in awhile I get lucky with a shoe/sandal that fits that I love. I do not own any Sketchers, I might have tried them before but probably had to return them. I took a chance with these, as I was looking for a slip on, no sock, athletic shoe that I could wear in the warmer wether, when it rains. I recently went to NYC in sandals and it poured, and regretted it. My feet were soaked. I wear between a 9 and 9-1/2 and a Medium to a Wide. In a closed shoe I wear a 9-1/2 Medium or Wide. In a sneaker I wear a 10 Wide. I ordered these in the 9-1/2 Medium. As soon as I opened them, I could tell that they run a little wide and I was happy. I have a bunion and have to be careful. Can't afford any pressure on it. These are also lightweight. Slips right on, the length was perfect. I have a tiny bit of slippage in the heel. However, not a factor to return. Plus, my feet will swell a little with walking and with heat. So for someone considering, the length is on target. They run a little wide, if you are a narrow they might not work,, unless you wear socks with them. I recommend them. I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars because I haven't really worn them outside yet with a lot of walking. However, I do not anticipate any problem.

Perfect for walking around - didn't even have to break them in
Now, these might not be the cutest shoes in the world, in fact my husband thought they were water shoes or something at first (haha), but they're so comfortable and are great for walking around. I had a business trip to DC, and these were great for walking around the city and walking to my conference before changing shoes. I didn't even have to break them in!I wear anywhere from a 9 to 10 depending on the shoe and the width, so I ordered a 9.5 and they worked great.

Dont stay on very well!
I didnt like these walking shoes as much as the more "full coverage" styles. The more open top of these shoes means that they don't stay on very well while walking. I ordered my usual shoe size and these barely stay on my feet while I walk. The other styles, by contrast, fit true to size and stay on well. The Sketchers walking shoes are AMAZING but I dont recommend this particular style. Opt instead for rhe styles that are more "full coverage".

Another Skechers hit
I have long loved my skechers mary jane go walk shoes but wanted something a little more shoe like and sturdy so I ordered these and a pair of trainers. These are the hit; sturdy enough to wear under trousers but open enough to wear as flats with a skirt. Superbly comfortable. They are a generous size, I sometimes have to have a size 6 in other shoes and am a comfortable 5 in most M & S shoes. These fit with room to wiggle my toes or even put a pair of socks under them so if you are a small size you may want to go down a size.Totally recommended for anyone who is on their feet all day or just need shoes that don't pinch, rub or chafe.

Slippery on wet paving stones after a months wear
I wore these for about 6 months walking to and from work, Its about a 3 mile journey each way and I would walk at least one way each day most days both (if it was wet then I get the bus) the only fault I have with them is that the tread on the sole wears away fairly quickly, with in the first few weeks which in the dry weather doesn't make a difference but in the wet without any grip they are very slippery on paving stones.

Fab shoes
I have two other pairs of Go Walk and love them. This pair is even lighter in weight. It is cut lower around the instep and heel. Lovely for walking on cobbled streets - I road tested them in Bruges. Silky knitted fabric upper and cushioned insole. They wash well on a 30 degree wash too.

even work with problem feet
I love these shoes havnt taken them off since they arrived. My friend asked me why I pay so much for shoes, because she wouldn't, I made her try them on shes now buying a pair. So so so comfortable I work a 12 hour night shift and have terrible feet problems so was dubious of trying them at work but they are great, really couldn't ask more from a shoe. And size im a 5 bought 5 and it fits perfectly, although my friend is a 6 and it fit her too, not really sure why probably just worn in but true to size
